Liverpool Transfer News: Pedro Hints at Barcelona Exit, Latest on Saido Berahino
Barcelona star Pedro has voiced his concerns over a lack of continuity and his future with the club, opening the door for a potential summer departure following plenty of rumours linking him with Liverpool earlier in the 2014-15 season, per Fichajes.net (h/t Metro)
As reported by Marca, the winger refused to rule out a transfer when he was asked how he saw his future with the Blaugrana:
"In a recent press conference, Pedro Rodriguez declared that he has his 'mind set on the club until the end of the season,' but after that, 'we'll see what happens' as 'not having continuity makes things complicated.'
To stay at Barca?: 'I don't know. For now, I'm happy at the club, but you never know what's going to happen tomorrow. I'm calm, with my mind set on the club until the end of the season and then we'll see what happens after that.'
He'd like to have more minutes: 'Not having continuity makes things complicated. It's tough, but what I try to do is help out as much as possible.'

The 27-year-old has started 10 matches in La Liga this season but has mainly been used as a bench player, per WhoScored. He was frequently passed over for highly touted youngster Munir El Haddadi at the start of the campaign.
The 19-year-old has since cooled down significantly, allowing Pedro to regain his spot as the first winger off the bench, but manager Luis Enrique likely has big plans for the talented teenager going into next season.
Despite his recent slump, Bleacher Report's Ryan Bailey and Jonathan Johnson still rank him among the very best youngsters in all of football:
This puts question marks around the future of Pedro, who is wanted by Liverpool and Arsenal, according to Metro Sport:
The winger has been a member of the Barcelona setup his entire career, working his way up from Barcelona B to become a vital contributor for the Blaugrana.
But the Catalans' wealth of attacking talent and numerous youngsters set to break into the senior side could see the Spain international leave the club. El Haddadi isn't the only teenager the Catalans have high expectations for—projections for Adama Traore might be even higher.
On top of that, Pedro's contract is set to expire in 2016, and according to El Mundo Deportivo (h/t Barcastuff), there are no ongoing renewal talks:
"Barcelona for now don't plan renewal talks with Pedro (27), whose contract expires in 2016. His future will depend on the coach. [md]

Liverpool look fairly set in the wide areas but could surely use a player of Pedro's calibre, and while Barcelona's transfer embargo would complicate matters in the summer, the Reds should be at the top of the queue when the winger decides to leave his current club.

Saido Berahino has reportedly ruined his chances of receiving a new contract with West Bromwich Albion by indicating he wants to leave the Hawthorns at the end of the season, and according to the Daily Telegraph's John Percy, the Baggies are willing to part with the talented forward for £20 million.
As shared by MailOnline Sport, his comments earlier this week didn't go over well with the club board:
The Daily Mirror's James Nursey added more details, revealing club insiders claim his team-mates are fed up with his attitude:
"West Brom's fed-up stars have started IGNORING Saido Berahino, after being exasperated by the youngster’s antics.
Striker Berahino, England Under-21s' Player of the Year, has had an outstanding season on the pitch with 14 goals already.
But the starlet was punished by magistrates last month for drink-driving and has also been fined by Albion for turning up late to games.
Now, his public claim this week that he intends to move on in the summer to 'a bigger club' has further angered team-mates, who feel his comments are disrespectful.
"
The 21-year-old is enjoying a fantastic season on the pitch, establishing himself as one of England's top young players with a series of excellent performances for the Baggies.
The latest reports appear to indicate the England U21 international is starting to get caught up in the hype a bit, however, and, via Football365, his recent performances haven't been as spectacular as you'd expect:
Berahino is a fantastic talent and given the current situation, interested clubs could be bagging themselves a bargain if the forward could truly be had for just £20 million.
That said, some caution is in order. Berahino is not an established player yet, and it's hard to gauge how high his ceiling truly is. The recent controversies could just be a result of his desire to play for a bigger club, but it shines a poor light on his character nonetheless.
Manager Brendan Rodgers could always use a young, talented striker to add to his collection, but with Divock Origi set to join the Reds in summer, perhaps he would be better off steering clear of Berahino.
