
Shonn Greene Reaches Plea Deal in Driving Arrest: Latest Details and Comments
Tennessee Titans running back Shonn Greene was reportedly ordered to pay a $655 fine after pleading guilty to two charges for an October arrest in Franklin, Tennessee.
Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reports Greene accepted punishment for failure to exercise due care and parking in a handicap spot as a result of the incident. He was previously facing resisting arrest and driving on a suspended license charges. Those were dismissed.

"When a parking enforcement officer approached him, police said Greene got back in the car and nearly struck the officer's vehicle as he sped off from the area. Officers approached Greene one other time when he was caught in traffic, but police said he fled again.

Police contacted the Titans afterward and Greene eventually turned himself in. He accepted the lesser charges to close the case.
The running back finished last season with less than 400 yards and just two touchdowns for Tennessee. He began the campaign as the starter before giving way to Bishop Sankey. He's under contract for one more season after signing a three-year deal in 2013.
No word on whether he could face any NFL discipline as a result of the situation.
