The Internet Reacts to 2015 Super Bowl's Crazy Ending
Super Bowl XLIX ended in both glorious and awful fashion Sunday night, with miraculous catches, unthinkable play calls and a low-grade fistfight all occurring in the final minutes of play.
Let's start with Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jermaine Kearse, who made a Barnum and Bailey circus grab to keep Seattle (behind 28-24) alive down the stretch.
Seriously, it is absurd.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
To say the viewing public lost its damn mind after Kearse's grab would be insufficient.

Before social media could even adjust its face, Pete Carroll rocked it off completely with an astonishingly bad play call on the goal line that effectively gave New England the game.
With his team on the 1-yard line and Marshawn Lynch in the backfield, Russell Wilson attempted to connect on a quick slant in the end zone. The Patriots saw the pass coming, however, and Malcolm Butler jumped the route and neatly intercepted the ball.
Here's a GIF of the play, via SB Nation's Rodger Sherman.
No one was ready for this turn of events, or the questionable play-calling that led to it.

Richard Sherman and Tom Brady metabolized the turnover in their own, distinctly different ways.
Vine user swwd49 uploaded a Vine of Sherman's reaction. He looked ready to weep after Wilson's interception.

FanSided uploaded a Vine of Brady feeling the opposite.
In a somewhat poetic turn of events, the final moments of the NFL season ended in ugliness and fighting. Ostensibly frustrated by Seattle's abrupt misfortune, Seahawks linebacker Bruce Irvin instigated a dustup during the ensuing Patriots possession and was ejected for his troubles.
It wasn't a great look for the Seahawks, or football's biggest game.
And that's how the cookie crumbled, folks. A ridiculous roller coaster of emotions ending in questionable decisions and pointless quarreling.
Enjoy your night, New England. For once, you survived the miracle catch.
Dan is on the Twitters, hoping Pete Carroll makes it through the night.
