Paul Pogba Learning Spanish Amid Exit Rumours, Latest on Chelsea Transfer Target
Juventus star Paul Pogba added even more intrigue to rumours regarding a potential transfer in a recent interview, telling reporters he is learning Spanish, with Real Madrid possibly eyeing a move for the Chelsea target.
As reported by Goal's Mark Doyle, the France international made the comments during an interview on JTV's Filo Diretto show, while he also professed his love for Turin:
"I'm very happy in Turin. It's a perfect city.
I love to live every day to the fullest. When I'm not busy with the team, I like to watch television or go out with my friends, Juve full-back Patrice Evra and forward Fernando Llorente.
It's thanks to Llorente that I'm learning Spanish.

The 21-year-old midfielder likely didn't mean anything by the admission, but the excitement regarding his potential transfer is currently so high it unsurprisingly led to speculation regarding his choice destination. Doyle himself hinted at a future in La Liga, for example.
Real Madrid have a tendency to buy the world's most intriguing talents, and while the club has previously ruled out a move for the highly rated youngster, his agent Mino Raiola was hardly impressed by their declaration, via beIN Sports' Tancredi Palmeri:
Los Blancos are but one of the clubs linked with the Frenchman, with Chelsea, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain also in the mix, according to Doyle. It's easy to see why all these clubs are so interested in his services—even at the young age of 21, he already ranks among the finest midfielders in all of football.
Blessed with technical ability, vision, incredible athleticism and a lethal shot from outside the box, Pogba has been one of Juventus' top performers in the 2014-15 campaign and already anchors the France national team. The Bianconeri would love to keep him in Turin for the foreseeable future, but per BBC Sport, that's unlikely to happen:
Pogba recently signed a new deal with Juventus, and as is usually the case with contracts in Italy, the deal did not include a buyout clause, per ESPN FC's James Horncastle.
This means Juventus can hold out for a maximum offer when the young midfielder does decide to move to greener pastures, and Bleacher Report's Jonathan Johnson wouldn't be surprised if a team were forced to break the bank and make him the most expensive transfer of all time, isolating PSG as a potential destination:
While it may seem absurd to pay such a sum for a young player who is yet to threaten the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi for the Ballon d'Or trophy, WhoScored (h/t ESPN FC) suggests the central midfielder is close to joining the elite ranks:

Chelsea don't have a clear need for a central midfielder—Nemanja Matic has established himself as the best holding midfielder in the Premier League, and Cesc Fabregas runs the entire attack—and as such, it's difficult to explain a transfer that would likely cost the club in excess of £70 million.
On the other hand, Jose Mourinho has always had a keen eye for talent, and Pogba is simply too good to pass up. The Frenchman would already make the team that much stronger, and it's scary to think what he might be able to do in four or five years' time.
PSG and Real Madrid will remain the favourites to land the talented youngster, and if his latest comments have any deeper meaning, he might favour a move to the sunny Spanish league at some point in the future.
Chelsea can offer Pogba the chance to play for one of the deepest and most exciting young squads in the world, and as far as sales pitches go, there are few clubs that can rival the Blues' stature. But looking at the finances involved, PSG might be the safest bet when the French star decides to leave his current club.
