The exhibition is given an appropriate venue in the form of the Ericsson Globe lit especially for the finale. The indoor arena is a suitable home for an event that's not judged or scored but serves just to thrill the crowds.
As all of the event's top skaters will be present, spectators will get another chance to see some of the competition's big winners. They include men's short program winner Javier Fernandez.

That means the reigning champion will have the opportunity to repeat the triple Axel that was the platform of his short program victory, per ISU.org. The triple Axel is considered the sport's most difficult jump, according to SkateSweden.Se, so it's a fair bet that the crowd will want to see it again.
If his program was a little erratic during the competition, Fernandez felt the inconsistency was because he eased up under the pressure, something that shouldn't be a problem for the gala, per the competition's official Twitter feed:
Two other skaters sure to be main attractions are newly crowned European ice-dance champions Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron. The pair quickly coaxed a positive reaction from spectators, something that inspired them, according to Cizeron, per ISU.org: "I think the end of the program, the last second when the public started to applaud, that feeling was incredible so that was the high point."
The gala audience will also hope women's short program winner Elena Radionova repeats even a fraction of the montage of dazzling jumps that won her the event. The Russian produced a stunning sequence, including a "triple Lutz-triple toeloop combination, triple loop and double Axel as well as three level-four spins and level-three footwork," per ISU.org.

Considering each of the skaters featuring in the gala will be free from competitive pressure, this gala finale should be a quality signature event to cap the competition. The likes of Fernandez and Radionova performing show numbers instead of competition programs, will certainly make for a vibrant atmosphere.
Based on the quality of skating in the competitions, particularly the singles events, the crowd in the Ericsson Globe is sure to be treated to a fitting final spectacle.
