Super Bowl 2015: Predictions for Patriots vs. Seahawks Stats, Final Score, MVP
We're just days away from the biggest sporting event of the season and can hardly wait for the 2015 Super Bowl to finally kick off.
The Seattle Seahawks have returned to the Super Bowl stage for the second straight season. This time around, the New England Patriots will look to knock off the defending champions and claim their fourth Lombardi Trophy.
Since the matchup features the top two seeds from the AFC and NFC, trying to predict the final score is a difficult task. Equally as arduous is picking the overall MVP after surprise winner Malcolm Smith took home the trophy last season.

MVP and Game Predictions
On a star-studded field of players, the most reserved player could be the biggest weapon for the Seahawks.
Marshawn Lynch has made a career out of running relentlessly in the clutch. When Seattle was down in the NFC Championship Game, Beast Mode carried them to the Super Bowl with 183 total yards and a touchdown.
During that game, Lynch broke a record he already owned, as Pete Damilatis of Pro Football Focus noted:
Somewhat overshadowing Lynch's recent success was his performance in last year's Super Bowl. Though he rushed for just 39 yards in that game, Lynch simply wasn't asked to do much to help the team defeat the Denver Broncos.
Lynch has seven touchdowns in his last seven postseason games, with the Carolina Panthers being the only team to shut him out (then again, he hasn't touched pay dirt against them in the last four meetings).
Denver Broncos defensive end DeMarcus Ware tried to describe what it's like to tackle Lynch, via Pete Prisco of CBS Sports:
"I shed my blocker and I was there waiting for him. I said to myself, 'I got him.' I tried to lock up on him and he knocked me off. I was like, 'Are you kidding me?' That just shows how strong he is. I knew I had to bring the heat if I was going to tackle him. ...
Powerful. That's one strong man.
"
In another tightly contested matchup with a New England defense that can limit the passing game, Lynch will be asked to fill a similar role. Given his history in the postseason and importance to Seattle's offense, Lynch should be the catalyst again on Sunday.
Final Prediction: Seahawks 24, Patriots 20; Marshawn Lynch wins MVP.
