Super Bowl 2015: Latest MVP Predictions After Patriots vs. Seahawks Media Day
There are so many things that can be learned about the Super Bowl on media day. Most of the answers aren't serious—hell, even some of the "reporters" aren't—but some good points can be drawn from the interactions.
Not that media day has any bearing on who will eventually win the MVP award, but it helps give everyone an idea of the players' focus.
For example, it was revealed that the Seattle Seahawks plan to put the brunt of the load on Marshawn Lynch's shoulders. Even if he was just in attendance so he won't get fined. Let's just say he would have an interesting speech if he does eventually win that honor.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Leading up to the Super Bowl, here's a look at the latest MVP predictions following media day.
Marshawn Lynch, RB, Seattle Seahawks
Remember that guy who is expected to carry the Seahawks on Sunday? Well, teammate Doug Baldwin made it very clear that is exactly what Seattle has planned.
NFL Media PR shared the quote from Baldwin during media day:
Known as one of the best big-game backs the NFL has ever seen, Lynch proved it during the NFC Championship Game. With his team down late, Lynch put the team on his back and compiled 157 rushing yards, 26 receiving yards and a touchdown. That's an average of over seven yards per touch with 26 in the game.
Though he didn't put up numbers even close to that in last year's Super Bowl, it's only because it wasn't necessary. Facing a potent offense with a staunch pass defense, Lynch will need to be the offensive MVP in order for the Seahawks to hoist the Lombardi Trophy.
Tom Brady, QB, New England Patriots
In the three Super Bowls he's won, Tom Brady has taken the MVP in two of them. Unfortunately, most of the focus lately has been on the two losses recently on the big stage, but Brady has been consistent in all five appearances.
In fact, Jeff Darlington of NFL Network provides a look at the stats for all of his Super Bowls:
No, he hasn't thrown for over 300 yards or even had multiple touchdowns in every game. But Brady knows how to win a game in late situations and has the offense—along with a kicker—that can get the job done.
Brady has a tendency to step up when the games are biggest, and Sunday will be no exception. If it leads to a fourth ring for the Patriots, it might mean a third MVP for their franchise quarterback.
Kam Chancellor, SS, Seattle Seahawks
Defensive MVPs in the Super Bowl are few and far between. However, the Seahawks have a defensive corp that can't be denied.
The Legion of Boom is typically seen as Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas and everyone else. After collecting three interceptions and seven passes defended in his last five postseason games, Kam Chancellor is now an emerging star.
Rob Gronkowski, who will likely face Chancellor in the Super Bowl, spoke about having to step his game up against the safety, via NFL Network:
Defending Gronkowski, Chancellor will get several opportunities for interceptions and to make an impact on defense. Gronk might be one of the most physical tight ends in the league, but Bam Bam Kam is arguably the hardest-hitting safety.
Whoever wins that battle will be on the fast track to the MVP award. That is, of course, if Brady doesn't open it up to his plethora of receiving targets.
