WWE Royal Rumble 2015: Stars Who Enhanced Their Legacy
Despite its ghastly and deeply unpopular ending, WWE’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view nevertheless allowed several wrestlers on the roster to cement and enhance their legacies. In fact, a few wrestlers came out of out the show looking far better than before. Not poor Roman Reigns, of course.
Truthfully, it might be better for fans to just concentrate on the performances of these men rather than dwelling on the jarring and negative aspects of the show.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭

Brock Lesnar’s performance in the Triple Threat match was absolutely fantastic. His feats of physical strength—that double German Suplex was jaw-droppingly good—and willingness to take extreme punishment established him as one of the very best and most skilled wrestlers on the roster.
The fans were appreciative, too. The crowd at Wells Fargo Center was extremely eager to cheer wildly for everything the former UFC star did. The fans absolutely loved and worshipped him.
Fans on Twitter were lining up to praise his performance in the bout, too:
"Brock Lesnar saved the ppv.

Not only did Royal Rumble establish Lesnar as a superb wrestler, but it also proved he can be a big-time main event WWE babyface if the bookers are willing to go all the way with him.
Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins may have failed in his quest to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble, but he still established himself as a genuine main event star with his thrilling, gutsy and energetic in-ring performance.
In fact, Rollins’ risky and breathtakingly good flying elbow on Lesnar will surely be on WWE’s highlight reels for years to come. It was simply astonishing. Rollins has shown that he is perfectly willing to put it all on the line in order to entertain the fans.
As one person on Twitter noted after the show went off of the air:
"I think this match proved Rollins has what it takes to carry himself in the Main Event spotlight
— Mr. $9.99 (@Ryan_Suplex) January 27, 2015"
Rollins will surely win the belt at some point—he does still have his Money in the Bank contract, after all—and Sunday’s performance promises that, when he does, WWE fans will be treated to some truly amazing title matches.
Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt gave a strong and memorable performance during the 30-man Battle Royal; he even eliminated beloved babyface Daniel Bryan in one of the most stunning moments of the night. Indeed, at certain points it looked like the former NXT star could even win the bout.
Wyatt has had a troubled couple of months—his character is one-dimensional and WWE doesn’t seem to have any new, fresh ideas for him—but his contributions to the pay-per-view reminded fans why he is still very much a force to be reckoned with in the company.
