Manchester United Transfer News: Paul Pogba 'Can Be Replaced,' Latest Rumours
Paul Pogba reaffirmed his credentials as one of the world’s finest midfield players with another exceptional display for Juventus in a 2-0 win against Chievo, and rumours surrounding his long-term future seemingly won’t abate.
In truth, the Bianconeri boss Massimiliano Allegri has done little to quell speculation either.
In the wake of that aforementioned victory, Allegri turned to some age-old adages when discussing the future of a star player, insisting that like everyone else, the Frenchman has his price and is replaceable, per Sky Sport (h/t David Amoyal of gianlucadimarzio.com):

"Pogba had an extraordinary match. To win these matches you need strong and good players, if that wasn't the case there wouldn't be some that are worth 100 million and some 5.
Pogba is an intelligent and calm person, he always want to improve and he demonstrates it in every game and practice. His future? In life everyone has a price, great players can be replaced. But I don't think it's a problem to face at moment.

Here’s a look at Pogba’s latest magnificent goal, the opener in the aforementioned victory, per KickOff.co.uk:
It wasn’t just the goal that made the performance so impressive, either, as the 21-year-old turned in a stunningly multi-faceted showing, per SB Nation Soccer:
According to Simon Mullock of the Mirror, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea will battle it out with Europe’s elite to bring Pogba to the Premier League. Mullock suggests the Frenchman will be sold by the Italian champions if they receive a bid of circa £75 million.

But French football expert Robin Bairner thinks that given his talent, age and potential longevity, the midfielder is worth just as much as the most expensive player in history, Gareth Bale:
In truth, Juventus are probably better placed than most to replace a player of Pogba’s immense influence. They have an array of excellent midfield options in their squad already and a potential transfer fee of £75 million would allow Allegri the funds to build a team that’s capable of not only dominating Serie A but challenging in Europe too.

They’d be at loathe to lose a player like Pogba though, especially after he signed a new five-year deal towards the end of 2014. But despite Allegri’s coy comments, Amoyal doesn’t think there’s any guarantee the Frenchman will leave Turin at the end of season:
"No guarantee Pogba leaves Juve this summer, he just signed an extension & may want to prepare Euro in France where he's comfortable

Indeed, Pogba is currently playing the best football of his career in the iconic Bianconeri colours and—if he’s not there already—is well on his way to establishing himself as the best central midfielder in the game. At the moment, the pressures on him are minimal in Serie A and the Juventus Stadium is the perfect place to continue developing as a young footballer.
If he was to move in the summer then he’d nail down a place in any of the aforementioned teams, but the spotlight would be firmly on him on the back of a potential world record transfer fee. With that in mind, a couple more season in Italy would be the best thing for the player’s long-term development before that cornerstone transfer eventually materialises.
