Pro Bowl 2015: Complete Rosters and Predictions for All-Star Showdown

R. Cory SmithJan 24, 2015

The Sunday before the most important Sunday of the NFL season is almost here. Oh, and there's also the Pro Bowl going on, for those interested, which should be equally as enthralling as it has been in years past.

No, but for real, with the rule changes put into place last year, the Pro Bowl has gotten slightly more intriguing. Throwing out conferences and having a draft had an effect on players last year, with the NFL's best playing with a chip on their shoulders.

At one point, we even witnessed Tamba Hali lower the boom on his Kansas City Chiefs teammate Jamaal Charles. However, we won't be seeing that this season, as Hali discussed prior to the event.

"I'm pretty sure I (wouldn't)," Hali said, via Jeffrey Flanagan of Fox Sports. "I don't know what was going on with DJ last year, but he probably was just in the moment and having fun.

"But there's no reason to hit Jamaal. None. It would bring me no joy to hit a teammate."

Then there's the fact that both teammates are on the same team with Cris Carter. However, not all teammates got so lucky and will face friendly fire. Below is a look at the full list of rosters for Team Irvin and Team Carter along with predictions for the stars that will shine the brightest.

Predicting Pro Bowl's Biggest Stars

Odell Beckham Jr., WR, New York Giants

When looking for a player that will stand out in Glendale, Arizona, it seems fair to pick a young star who shined all season. Look no further than Odell Beckham Jr., the New York Giants wide receiver who made a habit of torching cornerbacks and making unreal catches.

Even with his amazing rookie season earning him plenty of attention, Beckham isn't worried about any added pressure.

“I don’t really feel any pressure to do it, but I’ll do my best for them,” Beckham said, via Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News. “I know it’s more for the fans and for us to just have fun and enjoy the moment. So whatever happens, happens.

“But I’m not promising anything.”

In just 12 games this season, Beckham finished with 91 catches for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns. After being drafted 12th overall by the Giants, Bart Hubbuch the New York Post notes he went slightly higher in the Pro Bowl draft:

Rather than having Eli Manning throwing him the ball, it will be up to Matt Ryan, Matthew Stafford or Tony Romo to connect with him down the field. On a team full of Dallas Cowboys and a coach that's a Dallas legend, this Giants player will emerge as he has all season.

T.Y. Hilton, WR, Indianapolis Colts

On the other side, the receiving corps is also remarkably deep. But even with the likes of Antonio Brown and A.J. Green, look for T.Y. Hilton to have a little extra motivation to perform.

Hilton took over the reins as the Indianapolis Colts' No. 1 receiver role this season but will have another teammate facing him. Hilton and Vontae Davis had a friendly spat on Twitter following the draft:

Let's also note that Andrew Luck will be slinging the ball for Team Carter, giving Hilton another advantage over the team of wideouts. Given his situation going into Glendale, look for Hilton to have plenty of chances to show out.

Jimmy Graham, TE, New Orleans Saints

One standout that won't have his quarterback under center is Jimmy Graham. Though he didn't put together a memorable season with the New Orleans Saints this year—as fantasy owners are well aware—Graham also has motivation for reaching the end zone.

After the "Jimmy Graham Rule" was enacted, Graham hasn't been able to do his normal touchdown celebration of dunking on the goal post. The former forward for the Miami Hurricanes is excited to get the opportunity to dunk again at the Pro Bowl.

"Hopefully, they get me the ball," Graham told Kevin Patra of NFL.com. "I'm for sure (going to dunk). Hopefully I won't get fined this time. Last time that fine was a little bit steep, especially for a preseason game.

"I really don't care. I mean, it's the Pro Bowl, it's supposed to be fun. So hopefully they don't take my check away afterwards."

Though Drew Brees won't be throwing him the ball, he should still be a popular target in the red zone. If he does touch pay dirt, defenders might want to stay out of his way—he's been waiting months to take his anger out on a goal post.
