10 Scorching MLB Takes 🌶️

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
They have been red hot of late and so is their offense. With Vladimir Guerrero back in the line up and hitting well, as well as Bobby abreu and Erick Aybar on fire, this is a team, that if they get their pitching together, could go deep in the playoffs.
3. Philadelphia Phillies
Cliff Lee has been amazing since coming over from Cleveland, going 2-0 with a 1.93 ERA.
4. Los Angeles Dodgers
While the Dodgers have a better record than the Phillies, they are struggling of late, losing four of six, and that is largely due to the fact that Manny isn't hitting.
5. St. Louis Cardinals
The addition of Matt Holliday to the Cards' line up adds protection for Pujols, and he has produced big time. Pujols is starting to come out of his recent slump.
6. Texas Rangers
They not only are competing for the wild card but also the division. Pitching will be key for this team down the stretch.
7. Boston Red Sox
They still lead the wild card, but injuries to Jason Bay, Tim Wakefield, and Jed Lowrie have set the team back a bit, while the Sox ended up having to designate John Smoltz for assignment after he proved to be ineffective. The bullpen still looks good, although tired.
8. Tampa Bay Rays
The Rays have somehow after last year gone through this year as a sleeper team and are quitely sneaking up on the Red Sox in the Wild Card race. This could be a dangerous team if you don't watch out for them.
9. San Francisco Giants
This team does it all on pitching and defense and does it well. If their offense can produce a few more runs, they can be a really dangerous team.
10. Colorado Rockies
The Rockies have found a way to slug their way to being in position to fight for the National League Wild Card On the pitching side of things they have had three very solid starters in Jason Marquis, Ubaldo Jiminez and Aaron Cook.
