Most Intriguing Matchup: Peyton Manning vs. Indianapolis Colts Secondary

There are battles in all four of the divisional-round matchups worth watching, but when Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning squares off against the secondary of his former team, the Indianapolis Colts, all eyes will be on the game.
While many of Manning's numbers are down from last season, the entire Denver game plan has changed due to a heavier reliance on the rushing attack. Even with a more balanced offense, the veteran quarterback is still the key to the Broncos' postseason success.
ESPN's NFL Twitter account shared some awe-inspiring numbers:
Sunday's battle with the Indianapolis secondary won't be easy, and Manning knows that. The team's defensive unit allowed an average of 229.3 yards per game through the air, ranking them 12th in the league.
The Colts know Manning is still a major threat, and Indianapolis safety Mike Adams told Steve Andress of Colts.com, "Peyton is still Peyton. I don't know about all these rumors that he's not the same because he's not throwing for 300 yards. Peyton is Peyton."
In last week's Wild Card Round, the Colts dominated Cincinnati quarterback Andy Dalton, only allowing 155 pass yards and zero touchdowns. While Manning is superior to Dalton, the Indianapolis secondary has to be confident after such a dominant performance.
The two teams have met three times since Luck joined the Colts and Manning moved to Denver, with the latest battle coming in Week 1 of the 2014 regular season. While the Indianapolis QB managed to throw for more yards that day, Manning was more efficient and threw three touchdowns without an interception.
Most importantly, the Broncos pulled out the victory.
On Sunday in the divisional-round battle, Manning will once again show his dominance over his former team and help lead Denver to another AFC Championship Game.
Predicted Final Score: Denver 33, Indianapolis 30
