Here are the Lester’s Legends quarterback rankings for the divisional round of the NFL playoffs.


1. Andrew Luck, Indianapolis Colts

Andrew Luck averaged 297.6 yards and 2.5 touchdowns per game during the regular season. His 40 touchdown passes led the league. Luck also added 17.1 rushing yards per game.

He threw for 376 yards and a touchdown in the playoff win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Luck threw for 370 yards and a pair of touchdowns while adding another on the ground in the first meeting with the Denver Broncos.


2. Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers averaged 273.8 yards and 2.4 touchdown passes. He ran for 269 yards and a pair of touchdowns on the year, but Rodgers’ mobility will likely be limited with a calf injury.

Rodgers should still be able to pick apart the Dallas Cowboys defense. The Cowboys allowed 251.9 passing yards per game.


3. Tom Brady, New England Patriots


Tom Brady averaged 268.6 yards and 2.2 touchdowns in the first 15 games of the regular season before the New England Patriots took it easy in the season finale.

Brady has 43 touchdown passes in 26 career playoff games, but he has a tough matchup with the Baltimore Ravens. Baltimore did allow 248.7 passing yards per game.


4. Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys

Tony Romo averaged 247 yards and 2.3 touchdowns per game and closed the season with 12 touchdowns and one interception in his final four games. He stayed hot by throwing for 293 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the win over the Detroit Lions.

He’ll try to keep rolling against the Green Bay Packers. The Pack allowed 1.6 passing touchdowns per game on the year.


5. Peyton Manning, Denver Broncos


Peyton Manning averaged 295.4 yards and 2.4 touchdown passes this season. He threw for 269 yards and three touchdowns in the first meeting with the Indianapolis Colts.

Peyton closed the year averaging 233.8 yards and a touchdown in the final five games of the year.


6. Joe Flacco, Baltimore Ravens

Joe Flacco averaged 249.1 yards and 1.7 touchdowns per game during the regular season. He has 20 touchdowns to two interceptions over his past nine postseason starts.

Flacco averaged 273 yards and 2.5 touchdowns in the past two playoff meetings with the New England Patriots.


7. Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks


Russell Wilson averaged 217.2 passing yards, 1.3 touchdown passes, 53.1 rushing yards and 0.4 rushing touchdowns. He has a tough draw against the red-hot Carolina Panthers defense, which held the Arizona Cardinals to 78 total yards.


8. Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers


Cam Newton averaged 223.4 passing yards, 1.3 passing touchdowns, 38.5 rushing yards and 0.4 rushing touchdowns per game during the regular season. He threw for 198 yards and a pair of touchdowns while adding 35 yards in the running game in the playoff win over the Arizona Cardinals.

Newton faces the Seahawks. Seattle allowed just 185.6 passing yards per game.
