Accrington Stanley Sell 'Commemorative Tickets' to Non-Existent Match vs Man Utd

We admire the sheer brazenness of Accrington Stanley's marketing department for concocting a plan that sounds more like an April Fools' joke than an actual money-making scheme:
Step 1: Lose to Yeovil Town, getting eliminated from the FA Cup in the process.

Step 2: Sell "Commemorative Tickets" to a non-existent match with Manchester United for £20 apiece.
Step 3: Profit, maybe?
Here's the plan in the club's own words, via The Telegraph:
"An extraordinary club statement read: 'To mark the club's FA Cup run, 250 special edition commemorative tickets for the third round tie with Manchester United that would have followed a second-round replay win at Yeovil are being issued and available to buy for just £20 each.
'Those who purchase the commemorative tickets will have their name on a Roll of Honour in the club programme and on the website to recognise their contribution in future. The money generated will be put towards strengthening the Stanley squad in January.'
"
It's hard to imagine fans will be queueing up to purchase tickets to a match that never existed, but who knows? If it works, we expect all the biggest clubs to follow suit.
Anyone fancy a ticket for Arsenal vs. 2003-2004 Arsenal? Or maybe Pep Guardiola's Bayern vs. his 2010-11 Barca side? The possibilities are literally limitless.
