4 Things for Barcelona Fans to Look Forward to in 2015
Barcelona can look at this next year as being a glass half empty scenario, or they can be positive and take a glass half full approach.
One would imagine it's the latter which the hierarchy at the club will be preaching. After all, when you're at your lowest ebb, the only way is up, right?
The upholding of the FIFA transfer ban by the Court of Arbitration for Sport will have been a hammer blow to the immediate evolution of the current side, but there are still reasons to be cheerful.
Let's take a look at four things that Barca's loyal fanbase can look forward to in 2015...
Lower Than Usual Expectations Means Less Pressure

While there will always be a degree of pressure associated with playing for one of the best clubs in the world, it will be significantly lessened in light of the transfer ban.
Invariably when teams are free of burden, you tend to see players produce their best work. To that end, Barca's fans have much to look forward to.
By the same token, all of the pressure will be on Real Madrid to deliver silverware in at least one, if not all of the competitions they are currently in.
The hugely important mental side of the game may yet work in Barca's favour.
Youth Develpoment

Without the opportunity to go out and spend money, Barca are forced to rely on the talent that they have in-house.
Manna from heaven for all supporters of the club, given that its modus operandi is centred around promotion from within La Masia whenever possible.
Alen Halilovic and Adama Traore are two of Barcelona B's brightest prospects and they may well get given a chance in the senior team later in the year.
Not forgetting Munir El Haddadi, Sandro Ramirez and the returning Gerard Deulofeu to supplement the more senior members.
Can any other academy boast such a star-studded alumni?
Fully Focused and Prepared Well in Advance, No Disruptions.

Whatever the outcome of this season for Barcelona, there'll be no time wasted in focusing on the job in hand during the summer.
It'll be straight back to business for the first-team as the rest of La Liga go bargain-hunting or otherwise, looking to integrate any new signings into the picture.
Luis Enrique will have been able to plan his assault on all fronts well in advance of everyone else, knowing exactly the personnel at his disposal from the turn of the year.
The team won't therefore have any distractions whatsoever from a playing perspective, so there can be no excuses from the manager, players or technical staff that the team are not fully prepared and ready to hit the ground running from August.
Being so far forward in their preparation will be of obvious benefit and early-season results should reflect this.
Messi, Neymar and Suarez.

Frankly, if you can't admire the triple talents of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar, then there is no pleasing you whatsoever.
Injuries permitting, Barca's fans can continue to admire the other-worldly skills of Messi, the craft and prowess of Neymar, who is really coming into his own now, and the emergence of Suarez after a few months under his belt in Catalonia.
The best forward three in world football.
