2014-15 Wild Card Round Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Rankings

Ryan LesterDec 30, 2014

Here are the Lester’s Legends fantasy football wide receiver rankings for the Wild Card Round.

1. Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh Steelers

Antonio Brown led the NFL with 1,698 yards and finished second with 13 touchdowns. He averaged 117 yards and 0.5 touchdowns in two meetings with the Baltimore Ravens.

Brown had at least 90 yards in 13 games this season.

2. Dez Bryant, Dallas Cowboys

Dez Bryant averaged 82.5 yards per game and led the league with 16 touchdowns. He scored six touchdowns in the final three games and 12 in the final nine games.

A tough matchup against the Detroit Lions keeps him out of the top spot.

3. Calvin Johnson, Detroit Lions

Calvin Johnson averaged 99.8 yards and a touchdown in the past five games. He should be busy against the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys allowed 251.9 passing yards per game this season.

4. A.J. Green, Cincinnati Bengals

A.J. Green averaged 80.1 yards and 0.5 touchdowns per game. He was held without a catch in Week 16, but finished with eight receptions for 82 yards.

He’s a solid option against the Indianapolis Colts. Indy allowed 1.7 touchdown passes per game.

5. T.Y. Hilton, Indianapolis Colts

T.Y. Hilton averaged 96.1 yards in his first 14 games before a hamstring injury forced him to miss one game and be limited in the season finale. He should be ready to roll against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Hilton had 107 yards against Cincinnati in the first meeting.

6. Kelvin Benjamin, Carolina Panthers

Kelvin Benjamin averaged 63 yards and 0.6 touchdowns in a sensational rookie year that was overshadowed by Odell Beckham Jr. and Mike Evans. Unlike those phenoms, Benjamin is still playing.

He will face the Arizona Cardinals, who ranked 29th in the league with 259.5 passing yards per game this season.

7. Torrey Smith, Baltimore Ravens

Torrey Smith averaged just 47.9 yards per game, but scored 11 touchdowns on the year, including one in Week 9 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He scored three times in the last two games.

8. Golden Tate, Detroit Lions

Golden Tate averaged 83.2 yards per game. He took a backseat when Megatron returned, but he’s still a dangerous weapon.

9. Steve Smith, Baltimore Ravens

Steve Smith averaged 66.6 yards and 0.4 touchdowns per game. He averaged 53.5 yards in two meetings with Pittsburgh.

10. Michael Floyd, Arizona Cardinals

Michael Floyd averaged 52.6 yards and 0.4 touchdowns per game. He finished the year with 153 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He has the potential for a big game, but the Cardinals’ passing attack is suspect.
