The 4 Manchester United Players Who Have No Future Under Van Gaal
By the end of November, Louis van Gaal had used 37 players for Manchester United this season.
As the club have climbed to third in the Premier League table, many of these players have impressed the new manager, but some have also hurt their chances of remaining at the club.
Here I take a look at the four players who are likely to leave Old Trafford in the next six months.
Jonny Evans

Since making his debut for Manchester United in the 2007-08 season, Jonny Evans has appeared for the club 188 times.
Evans has long been lauded for his potential but only a couple of weeks before his 27th birthday, it is becoming increasingly clear he has failed to fulfil it over the course of the last eight seasons.
He is certainly a good defender, but United need great, world-class defenders, and so he could soon find himself surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.
Being bullied and turned inside out by Christian Benteke against Aston Villa last Saturday certainly won’t have helped his cause.
Darren Fletcher

Darren Fletcher’s bleak future at Old Trafford was confirmed when he suffered the indignity of being substituted at half-time against Aston Villa on Saturday.
The Scot noticeably struggled in the first half before being prematurely withdrawn.
Louis van Gaal, who has also relieved Fletcher of his vice-captaincy role in recent weeks, explained that he substituted him at Villa Park to get more passes up to his strikers.
Fletcher is out of contract in the summer, and he is likely to leave then.
Marouane Fellaini

While the Belgian has revived his United career under Van Gaal this season, it still remains doubtful whether he has a long-term future at the club.
With an injury crisis hurting United this autumn, Fellaini has emerged as a useful player for Van Gaal with his strength and presence in midfield, and he has scored twice this season.
However, Fellaini lacks the mobility, technique and passing ability to earn a place in Van Gaal’s starting 11 once everyone is fit, and even more so when the United manager makes the expected further additions to his midfield in January and next summer.
Anderson

It is slightly embarrassing the Brazilian midfielder is still at Old Trafford.
Since the start of the 2013-14 season Anderson has only appeared five times in the Premier League.
Louis van Gaal has given him two chances this season, as a substitute against Burnley in August and as a starter against MK Dons in the Capital One Cup.
On both occasions, Anderson failed to impress, and Van Gaal has since complained about his poor fitness, so it can only be a matter of time before he finally leaves United.
