Toby Gerhart, Storm Johnson's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 16
If one is seeking fantasy advice on Jacksonville Jaguars running backs Toby Gerhart and Storm Johnson in Week 16, chances are that owner is either hanging by a thread in a deep league or isn't in the playoffs.
Regardless, neither Gerhart nor Johnson has been worth deploying all season. Gerhart has been a free-agent bust, while Johnson has been spurned in favor of a former college quarterback in Denard Robinson.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Thursday's matchup against the Tennessee Titans' last-ranked rush defense offered perhaps a glimmer of hope. With the exception of a decent stretch by Gerhart in the first half, both he and Johnson weren't too impressive in a 21-13 win.
Brad Evans of Yahoo Sports and NFL Network did notice that Gerhart was beginning to flash a little bit, though:
Then it showed in the third quarter, when the 231-pound Gerhart got the call from one yard out and punched it in for a go-ahead touchdown at EverBank Field.
SportsCenter noted how rare it was for Gerhart to find paydirt:
Jordan Todman wound up sticking it to Gerhart and Johnson owners with a 62-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter that helped drive the home Jaguars to a rare victory.
The duo of Gerhart and Johnson had a tough matchup against Baltimore last week—it was the first time either had a great opportunity to contribute following Robinson's season-ending mid-foot sprain suffered in Week 14.
Until the Ravens game, Johnson hadn't recorded a touch since Week 7. Anyone counting on him as a fantasy flier couldn't have been thinking clearly, save for the Titans' woeful rank versus the run.
Gerhart is a flex play at best and hardly even merits consideration to be retained in keeper leagues. Presuming Robinson is healthy to start 2015, the feature role should be his, while Gerhart returns to the backup spot he occupied in Minnesota before he was misguidedly tabbed to be the Jags' workhorse.
