Darren Bent in Middle of Twitter Controversy Over Sunderland Move
Today, Tottenham striker Darren Bent has found himself in controversy after comments attributed to him were posted on Internet micro-blogging site Twitter.
In the comments that were listed under Bent's name, the 25-year-old English striker hit out at Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy as his proposed move to Sunderland continues to drag onward.
In Bent's first comment, he stated that he his seriously getting p***ed off now over the length of time it's taking to complete the transfer.

Bent then added that Sunderland are not the problem in this transfer, but instead blamed the length of time it's taking for the transfer to be completed on Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.
Bent later on went on to say: "Do I wanna go Hull City? NO. Do I wanna go Stoke? NO. Do I wanna go Sunderland YES" at the end of his tweet.
The deal for Bent to Sunderland appeared to be done earlier in the week when Bent was pulled off Tottenham's trip to China at the last minute on Monday, but little progress has been made since.
According to Sunderland manager Steve Bruce in the Sunderland Echo, Bruce has sympathy for Bent over the time it has taken to complete the transfer, but their is only a 50 percent chance that the deal is going to be completed.
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has already stated that if Bent were to leave White Hart Lane, Real Madrid striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar would become the No. 1 target for Spurs to get to replace Bent.
Bent's Twitter account got removed from Twitter early Friday morning.
