Juventus Transfer News and Rumours Tracker: Week of November 24
The past few weeks have been good for Juventus, with the team recovering a number of injured players and continuing to pile up wins in domestic action. A 7-0 thrashing of Parma and a comfortable three-goal victory over Lazio sandwiched the recent international break, providing the Bianconeri with a cushion atop the Serie A standings.
With Gigi Buffon and Giorgio Chiellini signed to new contracts, the reigning champions can look to the future with confidence and calmly approach a vital part of the season. Of course, despite those dominant performances, there is always room for improvement in the January transfer window.
Beppe Marotta last week revealed that the club will look to reinforce the squad but warned that any addition must worth the outlay. Speaking in a lengthy interview with TuttoSport, the club’s director general said (h/t Football Italia):
"If there are players who can increase the quality of the squad, then we will consider them, but there’s nothing to say that promise will be a guarantee. It’s not easy to find players worthy of Juve and we don’t want to become some refuge for any old out of contract figure.
