Adam Digby of FourFourTwo provided an image of Agnelli's recent press conference:

Buffon is now likely to see out the rest of his career in Turin, having moved to Juventus from Parma in 2001. The Italian stopper is widely respected as one of the best goalkeepers of his generation, having won seven Serie A titles, the UEFA Cup and the World Cup during an immensely successful career.

Gigi remains a mainstay of Massimiliano Allegri's side despite heading toward his 37th birthday in January. Juve general manager Giuseppe Marotta recently admitted Buffon had "cut his wages to continue" at the club after elite sides tried to purchase him in the past.

"The same is true of Chiellini, who over the summer had the opportunity to go abroad with a substantial contract, but decided to renew with us," said Marotta, per Tuttosport, via Nadia Carminati of Sky Sports.

Football writer David Amoyal suggests more deals are on the way:

Chiellini has grown into Juventus' most important centre-back since joining from Fiorentina in 2005. The powerful leader offers physical assurance and is an intelligent reader of the ball in a sturdy back line that has conceded just four goals in 11 domestic league matches this season. He is vital to Allegri's plans moving forward.

The players' personalities and influences are just as important as their footballing qualities for Juve. Supporters will undoubtedly feel a sense of relief to see them commit to what should be successful futures at the club.
