TNA Impact Wrestling: Complete Preview, Rumors, News and More for November 19

Donald WoodNov 18, 2014

After watching former TNA world heavyweight champion Lashley tear through Eric Young and Austin Aries last week on Impact Wrestling, it is clear that he will be looking for current champion Bobby Roode this week and demanding his rematch for the title.

Roode has been outspoken about his willingness to fight Lashley again, and according to ImpactWrestling.com, Roode will be in the ring to call out the former champ when the show starts at 9 p.m. ET.

Add in the fact that both the X-Division and Knockouts Championships will be on the line, and this Wednesday’s episode of Impact Wrestling is can’t-miss television.

Here is all the vital viewing information for this week’s show.

Where: Sands Casino, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

When: Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 9 p.m. ET (pre-taped)

Watch: Spike TV

Two Major Title Matches

This week’s episode of Impact Wrestling will be guaranteed to go down in history due to the four-way X-Division Championship match for the vacated title. Samoa Joe gave the belt up last week due to an undisclosed injury, and now Low Ki, DJZ, Tigre Uno and Manik will fight to crown a new champion.

On the other hand, Havok has wreaked havoc on the Knockouts division since making her debut, but she will face the toughest test of her career. Both Gail Kim and Taryn Terrell will attempt to take the belt in a three-way championship match on Wednesday night.

Question on Everybody's Mind: Who Will Win Each Match?

While it is sad to see Samoa Joe walk away from TNA with an injury, this is the opportunity of a lifetime for one of these competitors. As much as DJZ has entertained wrestling fans since returning to the company, the stage has been set for Low Ki to win another X-Division title.

For the Knockouts, Havok has held the title for several weeks and has been booked as the dominant heel champion. With the company running out of opponents, having the title change hands now would be an interesting idea. Kim is the likely option, but giving the title to Terrell for the first time would make for another big moment on Wednesday’s show.

Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Memorable Episodes

There is a chance that fans who tune into TNA on Wednesday get to see two title changes in the same night. Roode has also said he will call out Lashley this week, which could mean a third title match in one night. This is what you’d call must-watch television.

In the X-Division, Low Ki has won the title twice in his career, but a win Wednesday would bring his career full circle. The 35-year-old superstar is still one of the best wrestlers in the world, and a run with the title now could lead to another match with Samoa Joe when he returns.

As great as Havok has been since making her debut with the company, it’s time for a change in the Knockouts division. Havok should still be around the title scene, but the possibility of another match between Terrell and Kim with the title on the line is intriguing.

Bobby Roode, Bram, Kenny King and More

As mentioned before, Roode has seen the destruction left in Lashley’s wake as a message to the champion, and he will respond this week by calling out The Destroyer. The two men have been engaged in a fierce battle for weeks, and there is no doubt they will come to blows on Impact.

Lashley has been booked perfectly as the unstoppable heel force, but Roode is the ideal foil for the former champion. The two men are worthy of main eventing a pay-per-view, and TNA is smart to build the most important storyline in the company around these two stars.

Any time Roode and Lashley go face to face, the segment becomes a memorable one.

Question on Everybody's Mind: Will Bram Take Down Tommy Dreamer?

While Tommy Dreamer was busy putting on an incredible House of Hardcore show this Saturday in Philadelphia, Bram was getting ready for the Hardcore Rules match Wednesday against Dreamer on Impact Wrestling.

Bram has been talking about becoming the "New King of Hardcore" and has set his sights on some of the ECW originals still on the TNA roster. Dreamer is the embodiment of what hardcore wrestling is, and the bout will undoubtedly be brutal. If you are a wrestling fan who loves the hardcore element in the sport, this will be the match for you.

Dreamer should take the loss, though, in order to help put over Bram.

Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Deep Episodes

This week’s show is filled with storylines and interesting angles, and not to be lost in the mix is the battle between Kenny King and Sgt. Chris Melendez. King has attacked Melendez physically and verbally since he made his debut, but the storyline is about Melendez proving he belongs.

While it is great to see Melendez living his dream, the real star in this angle has been King. His promos have been entertaining, and he is a very talented wrestler. As TNA moves into the future, King should be a big part of the game plan.
