Walker Completes Over an Hour for U21s
Tuesday, Dec. 2
The Tottenham right-back emerged unscathed after 67 minutes against Manchester City U21s on Monday, after which he was quoted saying by Sky Sports:
"Felt good to back on the pitch tonight with the U21s, nice to cap it with a win too.
Thanks to the medical team, the fans, my friends and most of all my family for standing by me whilst injured. Always light at the end of the tunnel.

Walker Speaks On Recovery and Potential Return
Wednesday, Nov. 12
The club's official website confirms a return to first-team training is in sight for the right-back, who underwent surgery in September. Walker is quoted as saying he's in no rush, however, and wants to treat his recovery with care:
"It’s great to be back out there with the lads. I’m taking it one step at a time, doing things correctly as I’ve been told and I’ll see where I am in a couple of weeks. Everything is good at the moment. I’ll be even happier when I’m back playing but that’s the final step.
"
Walker last played for Spurs in a Europa League fixture against Benfica on March 13, and Mauricio Pochettino will be as pleased as any to hear the news.

The north Londoners need every piece of help they can get at present as they are struggling in the Premier League table and struggling to come upon a consistent spell of form this term.
In the English international's absence, Eric Dier and Kyle Naughton have deputised at right-back, but Walker stands out as the most elite, natural asset in that position, promising to add another dimension in attack and defence whenever he returns.
