Turkey vs. Brazil: How the Selecao Should Line Up in International Friendly
Dunga's new-look Brazil are in Istanbul ahead of Wednesday's clash with Turkey, and—deprived of their Brazil-based players—the Selecao will be forced into a change or two for the encounter.
With the Copa America less than 12 months away, it is a good opportunity for Dunga to look at some fringe players who could make his squad for that tournament—while also building upon the basis laid by four successive victories this season.
It is not a time for mass change and trialling of options. However, a few hand-picked changes will allow for better insight into fringe players while continuing to build upon the team's established platforms.

Looking at the Brazil-based omissions, it is in goal and at centre-forward where Dunga will principally have a chance to experiment.

Dunga's formula has been relatively simple thus far. Botafogo's Jefferson has lined up in goal, Danilo and Filipe Luis appear to be the first-choice full-backs, with fit-again Thiago Silva likely to partner Miranda at centre-back.
It is a solid base to work from, with David Luiz and particularly club colleague Marquinhos also having made strong cases for inclusion at centre-back. Mario Fernandes and the attack-minded Alex Sandro, meanwhile, are the full-back alternatives.
With Jefferson unavailable, then, Dunga will have to shuffle his goalkeeper cards. Rafael Cabral of Napoli, having been in all squads this year, would appear most likely to be given a starting berth, while Valencia's Diego Alves and Fiorentina's Neto are also regularly performing at a high level.
Any of the three would be a good option, but it will likely be Rafael—seen as the long-term future of Brazil's goalkeeping position—who will take the jersey on this occasion.
Again, Dunga would be reluctant to make big changes to a midfield unit that has been functioning well. Luiz Gustavo anchoring has been a success over the past 18 months, while he will likely be partnered by Fernandinho in the absence of Ramires.

Young Real Madrid-owned midfielder Casemiro, then, will need to be content with a place on the bench.
In attacking midfield, Willian, Oscar and Neymar will likely form their regular three piece behind a centre-forward, with Coutinho and potentially Rafael Firmino getting game time in the second period.
Up front, while it could be that Dunga opts to use Oscar or Neymar as a false nine, with Firmino or Talisca joining the attack, the logical option would appear Shakhtar's Luiz Adriano.

Brazil are currently short of proper centre-forward options, and the Ukraine-based man has performed consistently in the Champions League over recent seasons. Indeed, Adriano is currently the top scorer in the 2014-15 edition of the competition.
Dunga is looking at new faces, which is great to see, while also consistently attempting to play a settled line-up. Turkey and Austria are solid European tests, and two wins will not be easily achieved. Do so, though, and confidence will continue to rise.
After the utter devastation of the summer, Brazil have already clawed back some respectability. Captain Neymar continues to soar in the Canarinha, while Dunga's counter-attacking philosophy has drawn four clean sheets.
Brazil's task at hand is to continue that momentum and, hopefully, find some new faces for the national side in the process. In that respect, an interesting week of fixtures lies ahead.
