Grand Slam of Darts 2014 Results: Round-Robin Scores, Updated Draw, Schedule
The best darters in the world will once again descend on the Wolverhampton Civic Hall in England for the 2014 Grand Slam of Darts, one of the more unique tournaments on the PDC calendar.
Deviating from PDC's standard knockout format, the players are instead divided into eight groups for a round-robin tournament, with the top two advancing to the knockout stages.
With a £400,000 purse and participants from the rival British Darts Organisation, the Grand Slam is one of the biggest events in the sport. Defending champion Phil Taylor is once again among the favourites, along with Michael van Gerwen, the leader on the Order of Merit.

Plenty of the top seeds qualified for the next round on Sunday, but Adrian Lewis and Robert Thornton were among the title favourites forced to pack their bags after just two days of competition.
Jackpot suffered another 5-1 loss, this time against World Youth Champion Keegan Brown, as the 2014 Grand Slam quickly became a tournament to forget for the two-time world champion.
2012 champion Raymond van Barneveld came close to a loss against compatriot Vincent van der Voort, with the latter missing seven match darts on the double in the decider.
Barney couldn't believe his luck, fighting his way back and hitting double 16 for the win and a ticket to the next round. He later told PDC's official website he was well aware he got lucky:
"Vincent deserved to win but he gave me one chance and I took it. If someone misses doubles like that you are a bit lucky, but this game is all about hitting your doubles.
"
I've got two wins now but I rode my luck a little bit today and I know I still have to improve.
Phil Taylor set Grand Slam history in his match against Christian Kist, finishing with an average of 114.65, the highest ever in the tournament's history, according to PDC's official Twitter feed.
The Power was absolutely dominant in his 5-1 win, with an incredible checkout percentage of 71.43. While Taylor's season has been up and down in the past few weeks, the defending champion appears to be hitting his form at just the right time.
Michael van Gerwen bounced back from Saturday's disappointing outing with a 5-2 win over Kim Huybrechts, looking far stronger on Sunday. Two wins means Mighty Mike is also on his way to the next round, but he told the event's official site he wants to win the group first:
"I'm quite happy. I did a very good job here and this win will give me a lot more confidence because I was better today and did what I needed to do.
"
It wasn't easy, but I'm trying so hard because I really want to win this group and then go on to the last 16.
Top seeds and favourites who still face an elimination match include James Wade, Van der Voort and Simon Whitlock.

Michael van Gerwen was nearly upset by Darren Webster in his opening match of the 2014 Grand Slam, falling behind 3-1 after four legs before he turned up the heat to battle to a 5-4 win.
Two-time world champion Adrian Lewis wasn't as lucky, losing to Austrian debutant Rowdy-John Rodriguez 5-2.
The duo shared the opening four legs before Jackpot made two crucial misses in back-to-back legs, gifting the match to his 20-year-old opponent. Rodriguez sealed the deal with an impressive 13 darters, and he told the PDC's official website he was incredibly nervous on stage: "I was really nervous during the game but I'm so glad to get the win. I want to relax and play my game and prove myself here, but to win that game against a two-time World Champion is great for me."
Webster took a 3-1 lead against Mighty Mike before missing a double to check out tops, and Van Gerwen raced back into the match, winning the decider with a 104 finish.
The Dutchman was very disappointed with his performance, per PDC.tv:
"I didn't play very well - I was rubbish. I wasn't comfortable and Darren took his chances, but it's a really important win for me.
"
I need to get back on the practice board now because I have to play better in my next two games.
Van Gerwen's next opponent will be Kim Huybrechts, who bagged a 5-2 win over Jan Dekker.
Dave Chisnall didn't falter in his first contest, booking an easy 5-1 win over Keegan Brown. 2012 champion Raymond van Barneveld started his bid for the 2014 title with a win, beating Robbie Green 5-3.
Andy Hamilton had a dreadful showing on the doubles in the evening shift, losing 5-2 to Christian Kist despite posting an average north of 95.
Defending champion Phil Taylor showed his form in a whitewash of Richie George, and coupled with Van Gerwen's underwhelming performance, The Power has to be the early favourite to add another Grand Slam title to his name.
