UFC Fans: Keep the Boos Coming, He Likes Them and Deserves Them
Everyone knows what the UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar did after UFC 100, throwing up middle fingers to the fans and egging them on to keep booing. Who is this guy?
I'll tell you who he is: he's an over-rated MMA fighter who couldn't even make it in the NFL because he couldn't read and understand the plays. Lesnar tried out for defensive tackle and played preseason with the Minnesota Vikings during 2004. He was cut due his not being mentally able to comprehend NFL plays—or maybe due to his wanting to pin the lineman down to the ground and just stay down with them. No matter what it was we know that he got cut.
He's hootin' and hollerin' over his three wins over Couture, Heath Herring, and Frank Mir. If we carefully take a look at who he fought, we will see these wins weren't anything to be making a fuss about the way he is.
Lets look back at Couture: He' 45, 220 pounds, and 6"1'. Lesnar is a dominating 45 pounds heavier than him, two inches taller, and 15 years younger. That was a tough one, eh Brock? I think it would have been tougher if you didn't win.
Now everyone's thinking: What about Mir? Well, don't forget that before Mir's comeback from not-the-greatest fighting record, losing three of his last four fights, there were a slew of injuries: a broken femur, all the ligaments torn in his knee from motorcycle accident, a shoulder injury, and then, before he can fight Brock at UFC 100, a knee injury which requires anthroscopic knee surgery.
Lesnar fought a guy who has already passed the point of retirement and a guy who can't keep up physically, a guy who always has a band-aid on and is constantly on the mend. Truth be told, he hasn't really fought anyone of his skill level. You want to be a champion Brock? Well, you've got to beat a champion, which you haven't really done.
Maybe Brock is reading this wondering: Maybe I do need to fight someone more challenging and more my physical level. Maybe he's searching my Facebook to find and headbutt me. Nonetheless, whether he's searching or not, he will still have to beat a real champion, like Fedor Emalienko. Let's see you boo the crowd after that one.
