My contract was not terminated, I'm on paid leave. During this time I must be ready all the time to once again take over the team, if requested by the owner.

My contract continues to run and I'm on vacation. I signed for two years and I will not terminate my contract.

With Leeds United struggling to the tune of an 18th-place standing in the English Football League Championship, Darko Milanic has been removed as the club's manager.

The team's official Twitter account confirmed the news following the Whites' 2-1 loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers Saturday:

Sky Sports News HQ reveals their new coach:

According to Squawka Football, the Slovenian coach held that position at Leeds for just over a month:

Milanic's departure is the latest example of turmoil within the ranks. Per Oliver Kay of The Times, the Elland Road club will now implement their fourth manager over the course of just five months:

With the 46-year-old Milanic now out of the picture, Leeds will appoint 49-year-old academy manager Neil Redfearn as the club's caretaker, according to Adam Pope of BBC Leeds:

While Leeds United are still clear of the relegation zone in the Championship, it is blatantly obvious that they are looking to push the right buttons in order to avoid hitting rock bottom.

Leeds haven't been part of the English Premier League since being relegated back in 2004, and their ability to settle on a leader for any amount of time seems to suggest that their drought is far from over.
