Carr, Del Rio Comment on Injury

Wednesday, June 10

"I'm 100 percent,'' Carr said, according to Jerry McDonald of the Contra Costa Times,  "If I could be more than 100, that's where I'm at.''

"It's a non-issue,'' Raiders coach Jack Del Rio said, according to McDonald, "We haven't talked a lot about it to this point, and we're not going to start now.''

Bill Williamson of ESPN noted Carr sustained no setbacks on Wednesday.

Carr threw for 3,270 yards and 21 touchdowns in his rookie campaign and is Oakland's best shot at becoming competitive in the near future.

Carr and linebacker Khalil Mack are the building blocks of this franchise, and both saw significant time on the field in their rookie campaigns as an effort to accelerate the development process and build a winner in Oakland. While the OTAs would have certainly helped Carr develop into a better quarterback, actual game experience is far more important as far as the long-term future.
