2014 Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Rankings: Week 4

With another exciting week of football under our belts, here are the Lester’s Legends 2014 Week 4 fantasy football wide receiver rankings.

1. Calvin Johnson, Detroit Lions

Megatron is averaging 109.7 yards and 0.7 touchdowns. He is facing the New York Jets. The Jets have allowed seven passing touchdowns on the year.

2. Julio Jones, Atlanta Falcons

Jones is averaging 121.7 yards and a touchdown per game. The Falcons are hurting at wide receiver, so look for plenty of targets for Jones against the Minnesota Vikings.

3. Dez Bryant, Dallas Cowboys

Dez is averaging 82.3 yards and 0.7 touchdowns. He has scored in each of the past two games. He will get plenty of work this week in a shootout with the New Orleans Saints. The Saints have allowed 278.3 passing yards per game.

4. Jordy Nelson, Green Bay Packers

Nelson is averaging 117 yards and 0.3 touchdowns per game. He averaged 114 yards against the Chicago Bears last year. The Packers are struggling to run the football, which should mean a heavy dose of Aaron Rodgers and Co.

5. Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh Steelers

Brown is averaging 98.7 yards and a touchdown. He has had at least 90 yards each game. He faces the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs have allowed 261.7 yards and 1.7 touchdown passes per game.

6. Alshon Jeffery, Chicago Bears

Jeffery (hamstring) returned to form, dropping 105 yards on the Jets in Week 3. He is averaging 74.3 yards per game. Brandon Marshall is still dealing with an ankle injury, which means Jeffery should see extra looks against the Packers.

7. Randall Cobb, Green Bay Packers

Cobb is averaging just 42 yards per game, but he has three touchdowns. Cobb scored a pair of touchdowns last year against the Bears.

8. Brandon Marshall, Chicago Bears

Marshall tweaked his ankle last week, but he’s one of the toughest receivers in the league. He’s averaging 41.7 yards and 1.3 touchdowns. You’ll have to keep an eye on the injury report to make sure he’s good to go. Marshall had 181 yards and a pair of scores in two meetings with Green Bay last year.

9. Jeremy Maclin, Philadelphia Eagles

Maclin is averaging 98.7 yards and has scored a touchdown in all three games this year. He’ll look to stay hot against the San Francisco 49ers. They have allowed seven passing scores this year.

10. Pierre Garcon, Washington Redskins

Garcon is averaging 75.7 yards and 0.3 touchdowns. He worked well with Kirk Cousins last week, catching 11 passes for 138 yards and a score. He takes on the New York Giants. The G-Men rank 22nd with 258.3 passing yards allowed per game.

11. Mike Wallace, Miami Dolphins

Wallace is averaging 70.3 yards and 0.7 touchdowns. He’s a strong play against the Oakland Raiders.

12. Julian Edelman, New England Patriots

Edelman is averaging 86.7 yards and 0.3 touchdowns. He’s about the only offensive player clicking for the Patriots. He faces the Kansas City Chiefs. They have allowed six passing touchdowns.

13. Michael Crabtree, San Francisco 49ers

Crabtree is averaging 62.3 yards and 0.7 touchdowns per game. He has scored the past two weeks. He’ll look to extend that streak against the Eagles. Philadelphia has allowed 280.3 yards and 2.7 touchdowns per game.

14. Cordarrelle Patterson, Minnesota Vikings

Patterson is averaging 79.3 total yards and 0.3 touchdowns. Teddy Bridgewater will lean on his playmaker against the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons have allowed 262.7 passing yards per game.

15. Andre Johnson, Houston Texans

Johnson is averaging 63.7 yards. He could break out against the Buffalo Bills. The Bills have allowed 267.3 yards and 1.7 touchdowns per game through the air.

16. Keenan Allen, San Diego Chargers

Allen is off to a slow start, but he has a couple of things going for him this week. San Diego’s running backs have been falling like flies, so the passing game could be leaned on more heavily. The Jacksonville Jaguars have been a mess defensively. They have allowed 306 yards and 2.7 touchdowns per game through the air.

17. Victor Cruz, New York Giants

Cruz is averaging 63.7 yards per game. His production has improved each week. Cruz takes on the Redskins this week. He had 80 yards against them last year.

18. DeSean Jackson, Washington Redskins

Jackson is averaging 66 yards per game. He also clicked with Cousins to the tune of 117 yards and a score last week. Jackson has averaged 75.5 yards and six touchdowns in eight career games against the G-Men.

19. Brandin Cooks, New Orleans Saints

Cooks is averaging 72.3 total yards per game. Look for plenty of use against the Cowboys. Dallas has allowed 250.3 yards and two touchdowns per game.

20. Kelvin Benjamin, Carolina Panthers

Benjamin is averaging 62 yards and a touchdown per game. He’s facing the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens have allowed 262.3 passing yards per game.
