Loic Remy: 'I Cannot Wait to Work with Jose Mourinho at Chelsea'
Loic Remy says he's excited after signing for Chelsea.
The French striker joined the Blues shortly before the summer transfer window closed and admits that playing for Jose Mourinho was a major attraction to him moving to Stamford Bridge from London rivals QPR.
"I spoke with the manager. He is very clever and he knows exactly what he wants. He has targets for me and I have a target for myself as well," Remy explains in the latest issue of Chelsea magazine. "Everybody wants the best, so the discussion was really good. I know he can get the best out of a player and I’m looking forward to working with him."

Aside from playing under Mourinho, Remy will also rub shoulders this term with fellow strikers Diego Costa and Didier Drogba.
While most players would be overwhelmed by the prospect of overtaking the pair in the pecking order, Remy suggests he is up for the challenge, although he admits it will be a tough one to overcome.
"They are two big strikers, so that is another thing that will help me switch on, because I have to be at that level," he says. "So, for me, the pressure is there, but now I will just try to do my best and not put too much pressure on myself because I know what I can do and what we can do as a team.
"I think it’s normal when you play for a big team like Chelsea to have many good opportunities as an attacking player. We have two great strikers here already and, if I want to be in the team, I have to play at a very high level."

Costa has impressed in the early stages of his Chelsea career, scoring four goals in his first three Premier League outings.
And as for Drogba, his legend knows no bounds in west London after his penalty sealed Champions glory in 2012.
Remy can take faith from his form for a struggling Newcastle United outfit last season, though, when he scored 14 goals in all competitions while on loan.
One of those goals came against the Blues at St James' Park, too, helping the Geordies record a shock 2-0 win in November.
If he gets on the scoresheet early in his Chelsea career, Chelsea fans will soon forgive him for that.
