Brett Favre: The Joke of The NFL
Let's be honest, what Brett Favre is doing this season is simply wrong.
He not only is making a mockery of the Minnesota Vikings, but also the NFL.
Two years ago, I had the utmost respect for Favre. Now, I think he is an aging old man who is scared to step out of the limelight.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
We can all agree that Favre is past his prime and his numbers last year proved so. So why is a team that is a legitimate favorite in the NFC going after an aging QB who fell off down the stretch last season and is coming off surgery?
I wish I knew the answer, because it doesn't make sense.
Let's compare the stats of current Viking QBs Tavaris Jackson, Sage Rosenfels, and old man Favre. Favre had QB rating of 81. That is 14.4 lower than Jackson's 94.4 and slightly ahead of Rosenfels 79.5. Last year, Favre threw the same amount of TDs and interceptions. Compare that to Jackson, who threw seven more TDs than interceptions. On top of that, Jackson and Rosenfels had a higher completion percentage than Favre. Oh yeah, and Jackson has the scrambling factor with his speed.
Now that we have seen stats show that Favre makes no sense as a QB, let's look at what it is doing mentally to Jackson and Rosenfels. They are sitting there not knowing if either of them will start next year.
It has to be mentally draining that the Vikings show no confidence in them that they essentially are trying to get a broken-down geriatric to start over them. If I was Jackson or Rosenfels, I would want out of this dysfunctional organization.
One thing that I keep hearing that gets me fired up every time I hear it is that Favre deserves the chance at another comeback.
Um, no he doesn't.
Last year he gave up on the Jets, may have cost a coach his job, and left them like a one-night stand. He retired and like a month later considered a comeback.
That makes no sense; he knew he wanted to come back, because he just loves the media attention.
I think if you retire, you should have to sit out one year before coming back so we don't have to go through this charade again.
Now Favre says, "I will let you know by July 30." Well, Favre, that's the first day of training camp, and injured players, yes you Favre, need to report three days earlier.
The Vikings at least a month ago needed to say to Favre, "Yes or no? And we need to know the answer now." But they are just playing his little game, and I think they will suffer in the long run.
In a nutshell, Favre is a bad choice for the Vikings.
Stats, history, everything shows this is an awful decision.
I for one will not root for the Vikings if Brett Favre becomes their QB.
