Bucs Ticket Office Scores with Second Chance

This is America.

It is the land of opportunity and, most important, the land of second chances.

Previously we chronicled the frustration of waiting on the phone for ticket information with no answer at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' ticket office.

It was only fair and right to give the Bucs a second chance. It was the equitable and proper thing to do.

It's what we Americans do.

On this day, the Tampa Bay Buccaneer ticket office scored, and scored well.

A quick dial of the 877-653-2827 number got the previous recorded answer on the third ring. After again pressing "2" for season and half-season ticket packages, it was answered on the very first ring by a pleasant young fellow named Dino.

Dino is a Michigan transplant to the Tampa area and proved to be a most helpful and polite guy who was able to deliver the goods as they should be delivered.

Dino informed me of two half-season ticket option packages offered this season.

There is a five-game package that consists of the Dolphin exhibition game then the Dallas, Carolina, New Orleans and Atlanta regular season contests.

Cost for that is $325 per seat plus a $4 "printing and shipping" charge.

You can pay for that over five installments if you wish.

Now here's the biggie for the thousands and thousands of transplanted New Yorkers.

You know who you are, you are also a "Yankee fan."

The "Yankee fan" can get a four-game package that includes the Texans exhibition game then the Giants, Packers, and J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets game.

You can buy that package, Yankee fan, for a mere $260 per seat for the package and that might get you one cheap seat for one game in the Bronx, Yankee fan.

That payment can also be spread over five installments.

Generally, these seats are in the upper-level corners. But there really isn't a bad seat at Raymond James.

There you have it. Service with a smile from your Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
