Arsenal provided official word on Ramsey's status:

Goal.com's Wayne Veysey has the latest on Ramsey's status:

"

Aaron Ramsey could make a shock return to the Arsenal squad for Saturday's Premier League clash against Hull City, Goal understands.

He has fully recovered after the injury proved less serious than originally thought and having taken part in full training on Friday, Arsene Wenger is now considering fast-tracking him back into the matchday squad.

The Frenchman is even open to the possibility of selecting Ramsey in his starting XI, despite stating in Thursday's pre-match press conference that next Wednesday's Champions League clash with Anderlecht was the earliest the Welshman could appear again.

BBC Sport reported on Aaron Ramsey's status following his hamstring injury during Saturday's match vs. Tottenham:

"

Wales will be without midfielder Aaron Ramsey for October's Euro 2016 qualifiers against Bosnia-Hercegovina and Cyprus in Cardiff.

Arsenal's Ramsey, 23, has a hamstring injury and is expected to be out for up to a month.

"

However, Charlie Wyett of The Sun reported a different timeline for Ramsey's return:

Arsenal will once again potentially have to cope without the talents of Aaron Ramsey for a portion of their 2014-15 campaign.

According to Arsenal's official Twitter feed, the midfielder came off against Spurs on Saturday:

Rob Harris of the Associated Press had bad news after the match:

The 23-year-old hasn't always been among Arsene Wenger's most valued gems, but a meteoric surge to form during the 2013-14 season highlighted his importance to the Gunners' cause.

As a result, the expectations upon Ramsey to perform this term were substantially higher, the north London club hoping to improve upon their 2014 FA Cup title with more silverware this time around.

Starting the campaign strongly, Ramsey netted in his first two Premier League appearances this term against Crystal Palace and Everton.

Olivier Giroud's broken leg means Arsenal will need their other regulars to step up attacking contributions during the Frenchman's four-month absence. Having netted 10 goals in the league last season, Ramsey has been among those expected to deliver.

Arsenal had to endure more than three months of the last season without their talismanic playmaker. Picking up a thigh strain in late 2013, Arsenal's early success ultimately derailed, with Ramsey's absence taking its toll on the side.

Upon his return, Wenger summarised Ramsey's influence on the squad following their April win over Everton, per the Daily Mail's John Edwards:

"

We were having problems scoring goals away from home and (Ramsey) and Ozil give us a cutting edge in the final third that makes us much more dangerous. Football is down to quality of the players and you could see that today.

"

Summer signings Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck have drawn attention as pivotal figures at the Emirates Stadium in recent weeks and months, but Adam Bate of Sky Sports argued at season's start that Ramsey was Wenger's key star.

The former Cardiff City man has had to endure difficult times with injury since moving to the Emirates Stadium, a broken leg suffered against Stoke City in 2010 being the worst of his ailments.

However, the midfielder has thus far bounced back from all obstacles thrown in his path, and Wenger will be hoping to see much of the same after this latest setback.
