We Need You To Cover The Philadelphia Independence
The following is more of a help wanted ad then it is a story per se.
It includes the most despised line in the lives of the Citizen Journalist..."No pay, but the exposure is great."
Here's the scoop.

Star-Studded World Cup Ad 🤩
When the Women's Professional Soccer League began play this season, I became very close with the media department from the Boston Breakers. I presented Bleacher Report as an alternate avenue of Public Relations to the fledgling league.
Like any start-up company, the team embraced the offer and a wonderful relationship was born. I've worked to get talented writers from each of the league's seven cities and build a solid Bleacher Report following.
The league has been equally gracious and has given press credentials to the top B/R writers, which includes field and press box access, access to interview some of the world's top female players, and a steady stream of info from each of the PR and Marketing people.
The first time I walked onto the field and interviewed Kelley Smith and Anglea Hucles, I thought I'd die. It was my equivalent of interviewing Pujols and Manny from my baseball past.
I've grown to love the sport and have a nice working relationship with many at the league office. Amazing opportunity growing out of creativity and aggressiveness. I amazed myself to be perfectly truthful.
Two additional opportunities are available to talented B/R writers. The league is adding the Philadelphia Independence this upcoming season and the Atlanta Beat in 2010.
We have the need for a couple writers from each city to help publicize the teams. Both teams have been very gracious and again very open to helping us while help them.
Please see the schedule below for the Independence's upcoming summer schedule. Contact wither me at toddcivin1@aim.com or Sherry Amos directly. I'm sure she'll take all the exposure we can provide.
