Manchester City have had many great strikers pull on the famous sky blue shirt, particularly during their three periods of significant success in the '30s, the late '60s/early '70s and in recent years.
But who are the 10 best? Click below to begin the slideshow and feel free to use the comment section below make further suggestions.
10. Rodney Marsh
1 of 10City broke their transfer record in 1972 when they signed Rodney Marsh from Queens Park Rangers, with the club four points clear at the top of the table. They finished the season fourth, with many suggesting Marsh's style of play was unsuited to that of his new side.
He went on to establish himself as a legend, though, with a mixture of goals and skill. He was a free-spirit, a player capable of moments of breathtaking brilliance. He scored 47 goals in 152 games and was part of the side which reached the League Cup final in 1974.
9. Uwe Rosler
2 of 10
A relatively unknown quantity when he was signed by Brian Horton on an initial three-month loan deal in 1994, little did the City fans know Uwe Rosler would go on to become a club great.
He scored 64 times in 176 games during a difficult period for the club, including relegation from the Premier League in 1996.
His arrival in '94 helped save the club from relegation, and once he signed permanently his influence continued to increase. He was magnificent in the 1994-95 season, scoring 22 goals in 38 games.
8. Niall Quinn
3 of 10
Niall Quinn scored 78 goals in 243 appearances for City during a six-year spell in the '90s.
Signed from Arsenal in 1990 for £800,000, Quinn went on to establish himself as both a club great and cult hero. He managed 22 goals in his first season and continued to score throughout his time at the club.
He even saved a penalty after replacing the red-carded Tony Coton in goal against Derby County in 1991, a match City won 2-1. The "Niall Quinn's Disco Pants" song still gets an airing from time to time by City's away contingent.
7. Shaun Goater
4 of 10
In terms of pound-for-pound signings, very few in City's history can match the value Shaun Goater provided. He scored 103 goals in 212 games, a remarkable return on City's £400,000 investment.
He moved to City with seven games of the 1997-98 season left, but couldn't save the club from relegation to the third tier. Disliked by the fans upon arrival, it wasn't until the following season, where he scored 21 goals and helped City to promotion at the first time of asking, that his cult status began to develop.
His 29 goals the following campaign saw the club achieve back-to-back promotions and take City to the Premier League. It was a glorious two years and The Goat was a key player.
Injuries hampered him in the top-flight, as he scored just 11 goals during another relegation year, but an incredible 32 in Division One saw the Blues go straight back up.
Very few City players, if any, have achieved the same kind of adoration Goater managed during a turbulent yet brilliant five-year spell.
6. Neil Young
5 of 10Born in Fallowfield, Manchester, in 1944, Neil Young remains a club great to this day. He scored 111 goals in 416 games.
Primarily a forward but also a right-winger, Young enjoyed a period of great domestic and European success during his time at City.
He was inducted into the Manchester City Hall of Fame in 2008 and died in 2011, aged 66.
5. Carlos Tevez
6 of 10
Carlos Tevez's time at City will always be somewhat tainted. His four-month exile from the squad after refusing to come on as a substitute away at Bayern Munich in 2011 left a bitter taste in the mouth of many City fans, but his impact at the club is undeniable.
He scored 73 goals in 148 games and won the FA Cup in 2011, City's first piece of major silverware in 35 years. He'd go on to help the club claim the Premier League title the following season, City's first league trophy in 44 years.
Tevez's transfer was the catalyst for the successful club we see now. He raised expectations, not just those of the fans, but of the other players in the squad who were visibly lifted by his arrival. His form during the FA Cup-winning season, in particular, will live long in the memory. He dragged City through a number of games and deserves recognition for the important role he played.
4. Tommy Johnson
7 of 10
With a record of 166 goals in 354 games, Tommy Johnson sits second on City's list of all-time leading scorers. In 1928-29 he scored 38 goals, the record number of goals from any City player during a single season.
He was sold to Everton in 1930, a move which sparked a serious supporter backlash, such was his standing on the terraces.
3. Francis Lee
8 of 10
Arguably better known now for his turbulent spell as City chairman, Francis Lee made his name as a player for City during the club's glorious period in the late '60s/early '70s. He scored 144 goals in 340 games.
He was part of the title-winning side of 1967-68 and also won one FA Cup, one League Cup and a Cup Winners' Cup.
Lee represented England 27 times during his spell as a City player, scoring 10 goals.
2. Eric Brook
9 of 10Eric Brook was part of City's first ever title-winning side in 1937, having also played a significant role in the club's FA Cup win three years earlier. His record of 178 goals in 496 games means he is still City's all-time leading goalscorer.
1. Sergio Aguero
10 of 10
Signed for £38 million in 2011, Sergio Aguero has won two Premier League titles and a League Cup during a wonderful three-year stint at City.
His goal in the final game of the 2011-12 season, where he scored in the final seconds against QPR to snatch the title from Manchester United and secure the club's first league title in 44 years, will go down as one of the greatest sporting moments of all time.
Aguero has 86 goals in 134 games already for City and could go on to become the club's all-time leading goalscorer.
