BREAKING Joe's 411: Mr. Kennedy Officially Released From the WWE!
In what is a very surprising move from the WWE, WWE.com is reporting Mr. Kennedy has been released as of today. Kennedy is a former United States Champion and has worked on WWE Films project, Behind Enemy Lines 3.
As we saw, he just now returned to the WWE this Monday on RAW. He made his dramatic return to the WWE during the Flair/Orton segment and said he was officially back.
Then we saw him in the 5 on 5 tag team match later that night where he was on the winning team. Kennedy did, however, injure his wrist during an RKO by Randy Orton later on in the match.

He was said to be okay to go, as it was just a sprain. Internal talks about Kennedy were that if he could stay off the injured reserve, he would be pushed to winning a World Title in the future.
This would not be an injury that would keep him out for a while, so the WWE had nothing to worry about if they thought he was on the shelf for another six to eight months.
Maybe they were fed up with seeing him injured, but I just don't know.
If you ask me, TNA better be on the phone with Kennedy tonight because he would be a good addition.
And maybe the lighter schedule would do Ken Kennedy some good, or would do Ken Anderson some good. Who knows?
He not only could bring his celebrity to TNA, but could also contribute to them on the wrestling end and announce table. See, Kennedy is not too bad on the mic, so he could easily work as an announcer or do managing work.
The WWE would not use him that way because of him being a big name for them and wanting to use him in the singles spotlight, which he does deserve, of course. Jeff Hardy, Christian, and Gail Kim have all said the same thing when it comes to TNA.
It is more laid back and people do not get injured as often. That is something Anderson would like. People may be skeptical because of his injury prone past, but TNA could really use him.
They have been bringing in a lot of new and old names to TNA recently, and none of them would be as big a signing as Anderson. He would have to go by Ken Anderson because the WWE owns the Kennedy name, from what I am told.
Injuries seem to always be nagging him. He had an impressive debut match in the WWE, but was injured in it and was on the shelf for five months.
He came back and did well for a while staying off the shelf. Then all the sudden he starts getting injured again. This was significant because this was the time the WWE wanted to push Kennedy to the main event/World Title spotlight.
They just could never seem to do that because of his injuries. Which is a shame. And it may be why the WWE decided enough was enough and released him.
But unless someone hacked into the WWE's website, it looks official that Ken Kennedy is now gone from the WWE.
