Mohamed Salah Favours Manchester United or Chelsea over Liverpool or Tottenham
After attracting major plaudits in recent seasons, Mohamed Salah has singled out Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid as being three of the clubs he'd be most interested in joining.
The FC Basel forward has been linked with a move from Switzerland for some time, and it seems 2014 could be the year that his protracted transfer comes to fruition.
According to The Sun (h/t Mirror Football's Chris Richards), Salah recently commented on the speculation around his exit, saying:

"I'm very proud to have scored two goals against Chelsea. I want to play for one of the best teams in the world. My favourites are Real Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea."
Liverpool and Tottenham are also mentioned as being among the clubs interested in signing Salah, but it appears that the sentiment may not be mutual.
Sky Sports confirms that the attacker is interested in a move away from Basel:
The 21-year-old has scored eight goals and made six assists across all competitions this season, per Transfermarkt.co.uk, and recently netted the winner in his team's 1-0 win over Chelsea in the Champions League.
Salah also bagged a goal in the meeting between the two clubs at Stamford Bridge earlier in the campaign, with Basel again coming out as victors.
Of the three clubs that the winger lists, United perhaps makes the most sense for Salah as far as first-team prospects are concerned.
David Moyes' side are currently struggling to settle upon a combination of wide talent at the moment, with the likes of Antonio Valencia, Nani, Ashley Young and Shinji Kagawa all being rotated, while Wilfried Zaha is yet to even make a Premier League appearance.
With that being said, Salah is also able to play as a support striker, adding a versatility to his play that Moyes could find appetising.
Meanwhile, Chelsea already have wingers Victor Moses and Marko Marin out on loan, while Real Madrid's senior stars would likely be too much competition for the Egyptian.
The player is at least keeping his options open among the continent's giants, and January will likely see Salah become one of the most discussed players of the transfer window.
