Alfred Morris' Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 12 Performance
The Washington Redskins abysmal season continued on Monday, and not even stud running back Alfred Morris is impervious to the lack of production.
The Redskins helped bring Week 12 to a close by hosting the San Francisco 49ers. It did not go well for the Redskins. The Redskins fell 24-6 to drop to 3-8.
Morris carried the ball for 52 yards at an average of 3.7 yards per carry and no touchdowns.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Obviously, this is not the kind of production fantasy owners were hoping for. Making this even more grim for owners of Morris is the fact that Washington trailed only 10-6 at halftime, so it's not like the Redskins were forced to abandon the run to erase a huge deficit.
This is a big dip in Morris' recent production. The second-year back entered this game having rushed for at least 93 yards in his previous four games and for the season entering Monday night, Morris had 918 yards gained at an average of 5.1 yards per carry to go with five touchdowns.
Morris' light performance on Monday night is nothing for fantasy owners to worry about. He remains a solid starting option going forward, especially considering his favorable matchups in the pivotal fantasy weeks of 15 and 16.
There is no concern of Morris losing his status as lead back in Washington, but it has been baffling that he isn't getting every carry. He's only had more than 20 carries in three games this season.

On the plus side, this has reduced the amount of punishment he's been forced to take and he is running strong in the stretch run of the season.
