WWE Survivor Series 2013: Stars Who Will Get a Major Push at the PPV
This Sunday at Survivor Series, several performers on the roster look set to receive big pushes as WWE attempts to rebuild and establish its roster.
Recently turned star Big E. Langston garnered arguably the biggest victory of his WWE career when he defeated Curtis Axel to win the Intercontinental title on Raw.
It helped that the star looked credible in the bout: The announcers treated it like a huge deal, the fans went crazy and he won completely cleanly.

The Intercontinental Championship may have fallen into irrelevance over the last few months—Axel really did the belt no favors whatsoever—but it felt like a big deal here.
Thanks to his size and wrestling skills, the 27-year-old Langston has a decent chance of attaining main event stardom—and the Raw result may have very well been the first step toward this outcome.
It's very possible that WWE will botch Langston's push, like it did with Daniel Bryan and so many others, but at least he's off to a good start.
Expect his push to continue at Survivor Series, with Langston defending his belt for the first time and retaining it—possibly against Axel.
After months on the shelf due to an ACL tear, former world heavyweight champion Rey Mysterio made his shocking return at the end of Raw and, as WWE.com's Jake Grate notes, will be a part of the 10-man bout at Survivor Series.
The star will likely receive a big push on show—and maybe even pick up the victory for his team—as WWE attempts to reestablish him with fans.
Now let’s hope the injury-plagued Mysterio can avoid getting hurt again during this run.
The Shield look to be set for big things at the show in Boston too.
Big problems between the group and WWE champion Randy Orton continued to be teased throughout Raw, and it seems possible, even likely, that events will boil over at the Survivor Series pay-per-view.
The Shield could be about to part from The Authority...for good.
Are Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns on the verge of a turn?
Fittingly, Survivor Series will mark their official one-year anniversary on the roster. Having dominated the roster for so long as heels, turning babyface seems like the next natural step.
So, while the Wyatt Family may have grown in prominence in recent times, is there any doubt that The Shield is still the top stable around?
Survivor Series probably won’t pull big numbers on pay-per-view—the buildup has simply been too flat and routine for that—but WWE’s booking crew should at least use the event to get over various new stars.
At least then it won’t be a complete waste.
