WWE Survivor Series 2013 Matches: Predictions for Updated Card After Raw
WWE Survivor Series is a benchmark of the brand. The 27th annual event comes live at fans from the TD Garden in Boston, Mass. Nov. 24 at 7:30 p.m. ET in pay-per-view format.
On paper, the event is well worth the price of admission as the company has gone out of its way to stack the card with quality matchups from top to bottom. Outside of the championship matches, traditional elimination tag matches the event is known for feature top names.
It was just a year ago at this historic pay-per-view that the now-infamous trio The Shield made their debut.

CM Punk and Daniel Bryan vs. The Wyatt Family
Here is a bout that will likely steal the show.
WWE fans rarely get to see CM Punk and Daniel Bryan team up as tag partners on a big stage. We also get to see Erick Rowan and Luke Harper on their biggest stage to date.
Will we learn why Bray Wyatt has executed vicious assaults on both Bryan and The Best in the World in recent weeks? Probably not, but the match is sure to entertain with some thrilling spots and the antics of Wyatt himself.
It's strange that Bryan (clearly the most over performer) has been dropped from the title scene, but it's the best move for WWE here. The whole Bryan versus Randy Orton shindig was becoming stale, and CM Punk needed some direction after ending his feud with Paul Heyman.
Besides, what more could fans (especially the Internet-savvy kind) ask for? Up-and-coming stars in a match against two names who have helped change the landscape of the company in recent years seems like a good deal.
Whether it's interference from The Shield to set up a feud or a straight overcoming-the-odds angle, expect Bryan and Punk to emerge victorious in this one.
Prediction: Punk and Bryan via pinfall.
John Cena (WWE World Heavyweight champion) vs. Alberto Del Rio
Here's the match that will grab casual buys.
That's not necessarily a bad thing. John Cena and Alberto Del Rio have had a decent build in this feud after the former's sudden return.
Cena returned from a supposed career-threatening triceps injury at Hell in a Cell and has been booked as a strong face ever since (surprise!). Del Rio has a right to his rematch, but this one seems all too predictable.
WWE won't allow arguably its top face (sorry Bryan fans) to lose the strap a month after his return. Cena's a tired act, but so is Del Rio. The good thing with Cena retaining here is that we can get Del Rio out of the picture and allow another soon-to-be monster heel such as Damien Sandow to bask in the spotlight that Cena brings.
Cena overcomes the odds (collective groans) and retains.
Prediction: Cena retains via pinfall.
Randy Orton (WWE champion) vs. Big Show
Like it or not, Big Show is over majorly as a face in this feud.
It's easy to complain about this match, but when was the last time fans were this invested in Randy Orton?
Orton and Show have worked well together in the past. "The Face of the WWE" angle received a jolt of new life as well on the Raw before the pay-per-view, with The Authority suddenly balking in support of its chosen one.
At face value, this opens things up for an unpredictable finish.
Is Orton truly on his own? Will Triple H or The Shield intervene? It's tough to tell, but with TLC 2013 on the horizon, one has to think Orton retains. This either keeps the feud going or allows Bryan to re-enter the picture.
A major swerve such as Big Show turning heel and winning is an outside possibility as well, but WWE seems too hesitant to pull such a move. Orton retains for now in some fashion to keep the story on its current path.
Prediction: Orton retains via pinfall.
