WWE Survivor Series: Biggest Questions That Need to Be Answered on Raw
With this evening's Raw serving as the go-home show for the Survivor Series pay-per-view, it's up to the WWE creative team to answer several integral questions regarding the event.
Like, what does WWE intend to do about the rest of the card in Boston? As of November 18, the Survivor Series only has three matches officially scheduled: The Big Show vs. Randy Orton, John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio and The Wyatt Family vs. Daniel Bryan and CM Punk.
Considering Survivor Series is supposed to be one of the company's biggest pay-per-view events, this is somewhat perplexing.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
What about The Shield, who are seemingly on the verge of a face turn? Or divas champion AJ Lee? Or new tag team champions Cody Rhodes and Goldust?
There are plenty of others on the roster, like Wade Barrett and Dolph Ziggler, who aren't accounted for yet, either.
Will WWE even attempt to do a traditional elimination bout on the show?
Following the recent spate of low buyrates—both SummerSlam and Night of Champions delivered mediocre numbers, as Lords of Pain notes—it's hard to see Survivor Series bucking the trend.
Especially when the writing crew refuses to properly build up the rest of card. If they don't take this event seriously, why should anyone else?
Another question: What was the confrontation between the Wyatt Family and The Shield at the end of last week's Raw all about?
The fans in attendance seemed hugely into it too—more so than anything else on the show, in fact.
And when Raw was over, many naturally assumed the company was setting the stage for a Wyatt/Shield showdown at the pay-per-view.
But, puzzlingly, WWE announced the following day on its website that Erick Rowan and Luke Harper would take on Bryan and Punk at the show.
Will we see more interaction between the Wyatts and The Shield on Raw? Or is this yet another promising storyline that has been forgotten about?
WWE also needs to decide what they will do with new (storyline) director of operations Kane. Will he have a bout on the show? Or just do the inevitable and rather boring run-in during the Big Show/Orton main event?
Speaking of Big Show/Orton, will the company seek to add an extra stipulation to the bout?
At this point, it probably needs to, because this (rather generic) feud doesn't appear to be setting the world on fire. Bryan/Orton didn't deliver big numbers, and it doesn't seem like this rivalry will, either.
At least adding a guest referee or a No-DQ rule would drum up a modicum of last-minute interest and attention.
If Vince McMahon wishes to avoid this year's Survivor Series becoming as irrelevant as it has in previous years, he should use this evening's Raw to answer several questions in regard to the storyline and build up the card more.
It may already be too late—is anyone that desperate to order the pay-per-view after these past few weeks?—but it's at least worth a shot.
