Arsenal Could Rescue Joe Hart from Man City Nightmare
With Joe Hart again playing second fiddle to Costel Pantillimon for the third game in succession on Tuesday night, England—and Hart—are finding themselves in a dilemma ahead of the World Cup next year.
Hart is naturally England's No. 1, and will continue to be whether he plays for Manchester City or not. However, if he continues to be out of favour with Manuel Pellegrini, Hart may have to look elsewhere in order to further his career and continue his development.
With Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger actively shopping for a goalkeeper in the previous transfer window, could Wenger rescue Hart from Manchester and reinvigorate his career?

That is the viewpoint of British journalist Adrian Durham, who wrote in his Mail Online column that Hart could add the crucial experience of winning the Premier League that Arsenal are missing:
"There are plenty of current Arsenal players who have won titles, but all of them abroad.
Hart was a crucial part of City’s title win in 2012, when he was at his confident, commanding best, conceding just 29 goals in 38 games.
"
Could Durham have a point? Or more importantly, could the deal even happen?
City could well be shopping for a new goalkeeper themselves in the January transfer window, after Pellegrini has consistently refused to back the England international on repeated instances. Hart is clearly not in the Spaniard's thinking moving forward, and a move away may be a realistic option.
Wenger has rebuilt careers with his excellent man-management skills—the most recent of those being Aaron Ramsey, who has been one of the standout players in the Premier League this season. He could quite easily do the same with Hart, who has been the victim of some bad press so far this season. He is still a top goalkeeper and, with the right manager, could once again thrive.
The only stumbling block is the form of Wojciech Szczesny. After some shaky performances at the latter end of last season, he has returned in style this season, returning to form and firmly establishing himself as Arsenal's No. 1.
If Wenger was to bring Hart in on loan, though, it would not necessarily mean the end of Szczesny's Arsenal career—he could actually thrive from it.
Hart has played at the highest level of the game and has won domestic honours with his club. That experience could rub off onto the Pole and prove valuable for Arsenal moving forward.
Hart is arguably a better goalkeeper when he is on top form—and the competition for places could bring the best out of both Hart and Szczesny. Using the Pole in Europe and the cup competitions would still mean Szczesny plays a key role with Arsenal this season and beyond.
Granted, it is a deal that, on first glance, could seemingly never happen. However, if Wenger were to be interested, you get the feeling that Pellegrini could quite easily let Hart leave Manchester City.
Not only would it benefit Arsenal in the short-term, but it would also benefit England ahead of a huge World Cup in Brazil.
