WWE Survivor Series 2013: Feuds That Deserve Most Exposure at Historic Event
WWE Survivor Series is on the horizon, and many wrestling fans are expecting a great event. Survivor Series is a Thanksgiving tradition, one of the most-hyped pay-per-views of the year. It also happens to be the company's second-longest running annual event, right behind WrestleMania.
So for fans, only the best will do for this historic pay-per-view. And that means that only the best feuds should receive the spotlight.
We have seen some very dramatic rivalries develop over the past few months in Vince McMahon's company, including Randy Orton versus Daniel Bryan and CM Punk versus Paul Heyman. But which rivalries will merit exposure at Survivor Series? More importantly, which feuds deserve the most exposure that night?

The Rhodes Brothers vs. The Real Americans
This rivalry may just be in the beginning stages, but it definitely deserves some attention. The reason for that is for arguably the first time in a very long time, the WWE tag team titles are back in what I like to refer to as "regular rotation."
When Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns of The Shield held the belts, they were never truly in danger of losing them. Yes, WWE did a good job of selling the various feuds that Rollins and Reigns were involved in, but at the end of the day, it was a lot of effort for very little payoff.
The Usos and The Prime Time Players were perhaps the best options to dethrone The Shield, and both teams came up empty. Even though each pair was given what I consider to be ample TV time and got over with the crowd in the process, The Shield always walked away with the gold.
However, this is not to say that Rollins and Reigns should not have looked strong. In fact, the Shield has been such a dominant force for so long that fans likely expect most of its matches to end in a victory.
And being consistently presented as the most unbeatable tandem in WWE went a long way toward establishing The Shield's reputation. All of this work will surely translate well for both men when the time comes for The Shield to disband and the three members go their separate ways.
But when you have tag team champions who are so incredibly dominant, many times the match outcomes are very predictable. And predictability usually breeds frustration among fans.
When fans become frustrated, they could change the channel.
But this should not be the case now, as Cody and Dustin Rhodes are more of a traditional tag team combo. They have had The Shield's number from day one and have been on a great roll in the company, even scoring a win over The Wyatt Family on TV.
But they are not infallible. Cody and Dustin can lose the belts, and for me this is much of the draw for their potentially very entertaining rivalry with The Real Americans.
After all, the real drama is in the chase, but if there is no possibility of a title change at the end, then what's it all for?
Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger may have begun as just a patchwork tag team, but after months of working together, they are really coming into their own. They look more and more polished with each passing week. And now it appears they are headed for a real rivalry with the Rhodes Brothers after facing them on Raw and leaving with a submission victory.
Daniel Bryan & The Big Show's Rebellion vs. Triple H's New Regime
For most fans, this is probably the most anticipated rivalry that could be featured at Survivor Series. "Daniel Bryan versus the world" has been happening for several months now, since Triple H's heel turn at SummerSlam.
Every week, Daniel Bryan stepped up to face Hunter's new administration, and every week, he was beaten down. Despite all the heart and determination that Bryan showed in this storyline, he was almost always stopped dead in his tracks.
Bryan is technically a two-time WWE champion, a stat that is easily forgettable. The reason for this is that as soon as he won it at SummerSlam, he lost it mere moments later to Randy Orton. And the night after he won the belt at Night of Champions, he was stripped of the title by the Game on Raw.
Of course, we cannot forget about the double knockout that cost Daniel a possible title win at Battleground. Then there's Hell in a Cell, where Shawn Michaels decided to super-kick Daniel and prevent him from once again realizing his dream of becoming WWE champion.
And what about the man responsible for the double knockout at Battleground? If there has ever been a victim in WWE, it has been Big Show in this angle.
Big Show was forced to act against his will, attacking whenever Triple H or Stephanie McMahon ordered him to. Show's financial problems and issues outside the ring prevented him from saying no; if he did, he would be fired.
And that is exactly what happened. Now, Show is out of a job thanks to his raging against the machine. Hunter is so fed up with it all that he has banned The World's Largest Athlete from WWE for life. But I believe we will see Big Show at Survivor Series.
Truth be told, I think that something will happen as we inch closer to the pay-per-view that will cause Big Show to be put on the card. I think we could see some sort of tag match pairing Big Show and Daniel Bryan together against what could be an Evolution reunion of Randy Orton and Triple H.
Or we could see a traditional Survivor Series match with Hunter's corporate henchmen on one side and Show with Bryan leading the charge on the other side. But despite what happens, fans can be sure that WWE's No. 1 storyline will definitely see some more action at Survivor Series.
