CLT20 Day 9: Date, Time, Live Stream, TV Info and Preview
The Champions League Twenty20 continues on Wednesday; the Otago Volts face the Perth Scorchers in the day's early fixture, before the Highveld Lions do battle with the Rajasthan Royals later in the afternoon.
For the Lions, Scorchers and Volts, the day holds critical importance, after all three teams had their opening group games abandoned due to unrelenting rain on Monday. Those washouts have left Group A in the unusual position of having four teams on two points at this stage in the tournament, which will place a premium on Wednesday's results.
Below, you can find previews for each of the day's scheduled matches.

Form
Otago Volts
Otago come into this fixture unbeaten in their last six matches, dating back to March 17 in The Ford Trophy. That run has included three consecutive victories during the qualifying stage of this year's CLT20 that saw the Volts storm into the tournament's group stage.
The New Zealand-based outfit successfully chased down three moderate totals set by Faisalabad, Kandurata and Hyderabad, with Brendon McCullum reminding us why he's arguably the world's best batsman in this format. Ryan ten Doeschate also caught the eye with a sparkling 64 in just 32 balls against Kandurata, while the team's bowling unit has been impressive in limiting the opposition's totals.
Perth Scorchers
Perth's form line is almost non-existent, given that their first group match (first competitive match since January 19) was abandoned due to rain.
Although the team completed an impressive Big Bash campaign in 2012-13, eventually succumbing to Brisbane in the competition's final, the Scorchers haven't taken to the field together in more than eight months.
That long layoff could favour Otago, considering their run of form so far in this edition of the CLT20.
Key men
Otago Volts: Brendon McCullum
Without question his team's most dominant player, McCullum is Otago's primary weapon in this tournament. A composed 83 not out against Faisalabad last Tuesday was a fine opening to this year's tournament, while a blistering 67 not out three days later against Hyderabad assured the Volts of top spot in the qualifying group.
Simply put, if McCullum fires, Otago become extremely difficult to defeat.
Perth Scorchers: Adam Voges
With Shaun Marsh missing from Perth's side for this CLT20 due to injury, the Scorchers will desperately need Voges to step up in his absence.
Voges was his team's second leading run scorer behind Marsh during the latest Big Bash tournament, where he averaged 44.66 at a strike-rate of 149.72.
The Western Australian has also completed a decent run in the Australia national team during recent limited overs series, which should give him the experience and confidence to steer his team's innings in this tournament.
Weather: Yahoo! Weather predicts peak temperatures of 33 degrees (Celsius) with scattered thunderstorms and the chance of rain.
Pitch: The Jaipur pitch has only seen one match during this edition of the CLT20, where we saw a wicket with plenty of grass offering consistent seam and bounce. Given the weather of recent days, much the same should be expected.

Form
Highveld Lions
The Lions enter this match without a competitive game in this tournament after Monday's washout, making their form line less than clear. The lack of recent competition could also prove to be a disadvantage for the Lions against a strong Rajasthan outfit.
However, the team's most recent Twenty20 campaign ended in triumph after the Lions captured the Ram Slam T20 Challenge in April, which saw the team win eight of their 11 matches in the tournament.
Rajasthan Royals
Rajasthan have hit the ground running in this CLT20, defeating the Mumbai Indians by seven wickets on Saturday to jump to the top of Group A after one match. Vikramjeet Mailk and Ashok Menaria set the tone with the ball, containing Mumbai's batsmen, before Stuart Binny capped off the team's chase by smashing a six to secure an opening-game victory with two balls to spare.
The Royals are also coming off a strong IPL season that saw the team reach the tournament's playoffs, while their squad is among the most balanced of any of the teams in this year's Champions League.
Key men
Highveld Lions: Quinton de Kock
The most prolific batsman in the Ram Slam T20 Challenge, De Kock smashed 524 runs at an average of 52.40 in the tournament, which included a sparkling 126 not out.
The wicketkeeper, who has been touted as the best South African gloveman since Mark Boucher, looks like the Lions trump card in this Champions League campaign.
Rajasthan Royals: James Faulkner
The second-highest wicket taker in the recent IPL season, Faulkner has become one of the world's premier bowlers in this format of the game.
His subtle changes of pace and ability to cramp batsmen for room has propelled the Australian into the spotlight on the Twenty20 stage.
Yet it's not just his bowling that makes Faulkner effective, as his hard-hitting capabilities with the bat have ensured that he's an incredibly useful lower-order batsman as well.
