Harry Wilson's Liverpool Tour Diary, Day 6: Losing to QPR, but Beating United
Liverpool winger Harry Wilson was signed by the club as an eight-year-old. Now 16 and part of Liverpool's Under-18 setup, Wilson will be producing a daily diary for Bleacher Report during their trip to New York for the Newark International Soccer Classic.

We played in the final of the tournament last night, but it didn't end well. We were beaten 5-1 by QPR.
The opening exchanges were fairly even, but we conceded twice in five minutes toward the end of the first half. Sergi Canos scored a header to get us back in the game, but QPR were 4-1 up after just 10 minutes of the second half and the game was effectively over.
We made a few changes and tried to push, but it wasn't to be.
Obviously we're gutted, but if you look back on the week the results have been good and we've played well. Personally, I've had a decent week—I won us a penalty in the first game and scored in the next two. But I still think I could have played better.
This week's been a big learning experience, in so many ways. There's the football side of things, the exposure to the media and then the experience of being in New York and seeing what we have during our trip.
I haven't felt homesick, because all the lads are here with me and it's felt like home away from home.
Beating United
We had the option of coming down early to watch the start of the Liverpool vs. Manchester United match this morning (it kicked off at 8.30am local time), or staying in bed and getting up for the second half. Suffice to say, most of the lads were there for kickoff.
It was great to get the early goal and I thought we played really well. Liverpool didn't look like losing their lead and were deserving winners.
It's always great to beat United. The rivalry runs all the way from the first team to the youth ranks and we feel it every time we're up against them.
