The New Philadelphia Eagles and Their Big Expectations
After one of the league's most applauded drafts, the 2009 Philadelphia Eagles look to finally have filled the offensive holes that they have needed ever since Donovan McNabb and Terrell Owens led the team to a Super Bowl in 2004. Now the question is whether 32-year-old quarterback Donovan McNabb can work with what he's asked for.
First-round draft pick Jeremy Maclin could develop into a true number one receiver this team has desperately needed since Owens left. Along side Desean Jackson whose rookie season was quite impressive, some early scouting believes this team could have one of the best offensive envoy's in football next season.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Second-round pick LeSean McCoy should take a considerable load off of Brian Westbrook and most likely will be used as a 3rd down back. The Philadelphia Eagles also drafted TE Cornelius Graham who will likely replace L.J. Smith who left in the offseason.
Even Reggie Brown, the Eagles WR who never developed into the #1 WR they hoped he would become, arrived at minicamp ready to battle for a spot on the roster. Brown was not included on the roster in the NFC Championship Game against Arizona.
And for the first time in two years, McNabb's future in Philadelphia was not the main storyline heading into the offseason, especially after likely successor Kevin Kolb threw a 99 yard interception to Ed Reed after McNabb was benched in week 12 against Baltimore. While McNabb has quietly voiced a desire for an extension, the gray cloud over McNabb's future is no longer hovering in Philadelphia.
So as the future of Philadelphia's offense has arrived, the seasoned McNabb will get his first chance to work with them. As every season begins in Philadelphia, a Super Bowl title is the only satisfiable outcome.
