England vs. Norway: Date, Time, Live Stream and Preview for Euro U-21 Match
England and Norway meet in a crucial UEFA Under-21 Euro Championship match Saturday afternoon.
As the second match in the group for both countries, this is a big game. Neither country was able to pick up a victory in their first match, so this will be a big factor in determining their chances of advancing to the next round.
If you're simply a general football fan without any rooting interest, this should still be an entertaining match.

Watching tournaments like this is great because you can get a first look at younger players who are emerging but play in a lesser league. Or you can see some more well-known players have the spotlight in a way they don't get with their respective clubs.
Here's a quick preview for Saturday's U-21 Euro match.
When: Saturday, June 8, at 11:45 a.m. ET
Where: HaMoshava Stadium; Petah Tikva, Israel
Live Stream: ESPN3
What's at Stake
This is a pivotal match for England. With the 1-0 loss to Italy, they're sitting in the bottom of Group A. A defeat to Norway would mean the English have no chance for the knockout stages.
England manager Stuart Pearce has already gone on record criticizing his players, calling them "very poor" and that they "know it wasn't good enough," per the BBC. The team will know it needs a much better showing the second match.
With a goal in the 91st minute, Harmeet Singh was able to snatch a late draw for Norway. Getting the point was almost less important than keeping two more points away from Israel. The Norwegians are in a tie with the Israelis, with Italy alone up top on three points.
If Norway have any hope of advancing to the next round, they'll likely need to pick up a win either Saturday or Tuesday. Considering they've got England and then Italy, Saturday's match might be the best chance they have to get three points.
England Player to Watch: Wilfried Zaha
The BBC reported Wilfried Zaha will be ready for Saturday's match against Norway:
His return can't come at a better time. England weren't abject against Italy, but they failed to create much in the final third. There are a lot of bigger names in the squad who have Premier League experience, and yet England failed to find a goal. They did have one disallowed, but the Italians were also denied a penalty in the first half.
Bringing in Zaha will likely bring much more creativity to the English attack. He was fantastic for Crystal Palace this season as they gained promotion to the Premier League. Zaha scored six goals and assisted on 10 more this past year and also scored another two goals and added an assist in the Championship playoffs.
Zaha's play out wide on the right might also free up Connor Wickham in the center of the pitch, and the striker will also be able to pounce on Zaha's delivery.
Norway Player to Watch: Marcus Pedersen
There won't be a better goalscorer on the pitch for Norway than Marcus Pedersen.
He's scored seven goals in 18 appearances for the Norwegian U-21 side. The 22-year-old striker also had seven goals in 24 appearances while on loan at Odense in the Danish Superliga. Pedersen got Norway's first goal on Wednesday, leveling the score in the 24th minute.
There's some talented attackers on Norway, but they don't stack up against the English man for man. When Norway gets their chances, they're going to have to make the most of them. Pedersen will be a large part of that.
Prediction
England will come out with the victory. They simply have more talent, and after the Italy result, they will be motivated to do much better in their second match. The players should have a chip on their shoulders after Pearce publicly called them out.
Norway are a good side, but they'll have trouble handing the English attack, especially if Zaha is 100 percent fit. He'll be a constant threat down the right wing.
The Norwegians should keep it fairly close, but they'll never look the better side. They surrender an early goal, and it will be an uphill battle from there. Then a late goal will resign them to defeat.
England 2, Norway 0
