Undefined Passion: Liverpool's Dirk Kuyt, The Dream Player
Liverpool's Dutch forward Dirk Kuyt has been transformed into more of a right winger this season by the Reds' manager Rafael Benitez.
Kuyt's consistency on the right flank became the reason for Jermaine Pennant being loaned out to Portsmouth after the ex-Arsenal winger became increasingly frustrated with the lack of opportunities he got at Anfield.
Benitez has stuck with Kuyt because his versatility has strengthened Liverpool's attack and the Reds are now a prominent part of the title race for the Barclays Premier League.

Kuyt can cut in from the wings, to pass or to take a shot and he can also go deep on the flanks to provide a cross for the likes of Torres and Benayoun.
What I truly admire about him is his undying spirit. His work ethic is amazing; such passion, commitment, and determination is supposed to be an inspiration for all players plying their trade at such a high level.
He keeps running, dashing, sliding in with those crunching tackles from the first whistle to the last one—such remarkable stamina is something not every Tom, Dick, and Harry is blessed with.
At Liverpool, the likes of Fernando Torres, Steven Gerrard, and Jaime Carragher do often steal the limelight, but Kuyt's contribution can not be undermined.
His attacking presence can be a nightmare for the opposition's defense. Although he is not blessed with the same agility, talent, and ability as Fernando Torres—he keeps at it, never getting "morally off-side." He is often seen helping out in defense as well.
As far as "Value for Money" is concerned, I regard the ex-Feyendrood striker as Rafael Benitez's best buy as Liverpool manager.
Dirk Kuyt is a dream player that every manager would want to have in their squad.
