Friday's Premier League Transfer Talk RoundUp

There's nothing like a bit of idle transfer gossip to start your day, so instead of perusing any number of outlets to find out what may––or may not––be happening, allow me to digest the lot for you.

On the back of Arsenal's Champions's League elimination there has been plenty of suggestions Arsene Wenger is ready to adequately refurnish his squad, and the Daily Star kick things off by claiming the Gunner's boss will spend £30 million to bring Malaga star Isco to The Emirates.

The 20-year-old scored a stunning goal to help Malaga past Porto in midweek, and if anyone did want to make a move for the Spanish international, they should have done it before he signed a new contract recently in which a £17.5 million release clause was wiped out.

The Daily Mirror also report that Thomas Vermaelen and Wojciech Szczesny could be leaving the Gunners after being "ruthlessly axed" for the game away to Bayern Munich, whilst The Mirror declare that big-spending Russians Anzhi Makhachkala and Zenit St Petersburg will want to waste yet more money by taking Nicklas Bendtner off Wenger's hands.

Meanwhile at Manchester City, The Mirror have come up with an alternative angle on Carlos Tevez's future by announcing the Premier League champions are preparing to offer the Argentine a new contract––despite him trying to leave for the past three years.

The same red-top also quote notoriously unreliable Spanish newspaper and Real Madrid mouthpiece AS in saying that Sergio Aguero is keen on a switch to Real this summer, and completing a double Manchester for Madrid bound striker swoop talk, Atletico are "readying a bid" for United's Javier Hernandez––if you have faith in Charles Perrin of the Daily Express.

A story which is slightly more believable if not altogether completely illogical comes from nobody's favourite daily––The Sun. They reckon that Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers wants to sign Sporting Lisbon's Spanish winger Diego Capel, but I for one can't see why the club need another lightweight wide man.

Moving upmarket, The Independent are painting a picture of a four-way chase for Hamburg's South Korean striker Heung-min Son––with Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and Bayern Munich said to be squabbling over his services.

And rounding things off with the least speculative piece of speculation covered by just about everyone, West Brom boss Steve Clarke says he doesn't think Chelsea will let him loan Romelu Lukaku for another season. You reckon?
