"The Animal" Batista Is Back! Why He's Back Earlier Than Anticipated
As seen on WWE RAW last night, "The Animal" Batista made his way back to the WWE saving The McMahons and Triple H from Legacy. He came in and speared Randy Orton, clotheslined Ted Dibiase out of the ring and gave both a spinebuster and Batista Bomb to Cody Rhodes.
It was a great return and was a huge surprise. No insider picked up on it what so ever because Batista was supposed to be out of action until June or even August at the latest after having surgery in December.
He mentioned in an interview that he felt well enough to be at Wrestlemania but doubted he would be able to with all the storylines involved. The fact is that he was not cleared by doctors at this time.

The reason insiders did not report anything was because they knew he was going to be out for a while. Batista was at Wrestlemania, just was not seen of course. They figured him being there was nice, but really was not news.
They were wrong as he did come back at RAW the night after Wrestlemania.
However he had gotten cleared a few weeks back, just was not able to come back yet until the WWE could fit him in. And with the Legacy versus Triple H and McMahons idea, it seemed like a good idea to bring him back now.
Considering it was Orton who punted him out of action many months back, it was a terrific idea.
The WWE did not alert the media about the return. They asked for people to keep it quite and the creative team and Vince did not tell anyone until the day of that Batista was going to be there.
And of course they wanted to make it a surprise for the fans like Vince always loves to do, so keeping it quiet worked out.
Now, with this news coming out about Batista and him just now being cleared the WWE may not put him in a match one-on-one for a little while. They have him set up for the Backlash PPV in May which is a six-man tag team match.
So the one-on-one matches may not come for a little while. But they may put him in one before then against Rhodes and have him end it early if they do it all before the PPV. But I don't see them crossing the line to much with him just yet as he has just come back.
He did not show to much ring rust, which was good. Also, his leg did not seem to give him problems, which was also good.
I don't know about anyone else, but I am glad to see him back. Just didn't think it was going to be so early.
